The Next day I went to work and Annie said she will drop Mia to school and she will also go and pick her up that I should not worry about her, she is staying at my house for now.

When I get to work my boss called me and Anna, he told us that he wants to celebrate the company anniversary which is one month to this time, so he said he hand over the responsibility to the two of us, we should supervise all the necessary things like the decoration of the hall, foods, and drinks, the people to invite and all necessary stuff. After the discussion with our boss, I and Anna went back to our desk and she told me what to do because she has been working here for 3 years, and also she checked what she will also do, we divided the work into two.

NICK P.O.V

I don't know what my problem, that I am chasing the same woman for the past 2 months when there are a lot of girls to warm my bed at night, maybe because no girl or lady ever say no to me, what is special in her that she declined me anytime I want to talk to her, I always do what I set my mind on. I am Nick Scoot, no woman has ever say no to me.

I am on way to Nate company to see Bella, I will try to talk to her today and get her number, Nate and Natalie refused to give me her number they said that they know that I am a playboy and Bella is a good girl so I should find another girl, but I don't know why I always chase her even if a girl declined me I get another within seconds, so am I chasing this particular girl?

"Hey Buddy" I greet Nate when I enter his office

"Nick, what are you doing here? Don't you have work to do at your company?" He asked me

"Can't I come to see my friend again?"

"You did not come here to see me, but for Bella and I already told you to back off because Bella is not one of the girls that throw themselves to a man because of money, she is a good girl and if you do anything stupid to her, you will have to face me," He said looking up from his laptop

"What makes her different? She is a single mother, is it not because she has one night with a man that makes her give birth to her daughter? If she is different she will be with the father of the baby" Nate stands up from his chair and sits down beside me

"No matter what happens to her, you are not in a good position to judge her, because of men like you if you keep your dick inside your pant there will not be a victim like her," He said looking serious as if Bella is her sister

"What is your problem with her, is she your sister or one of your family members?" I asked him

"No she is not my sister but she is a good girl who deserves someone better than you" He stands up and went back to continue his work "If you don't have anything you come here to do, you can go back work because Bella is not here today

"I did not come here for her, I came to see how you are doing" I try to change the topic because I come here because of Bella but he has caught me.

"Ok, I am fine thanks, it is what you can call me to ask and not bother yourself to come here," he said not looking at me

"How about your company anniversary this year, how is it going to be?" I asked him

"It is as always and makes sure you don't leave early as you did last years because you see a chick to warm your bed you leave me and run away, idiot" It is true last year at his company anniversary I saw this beautiful lady and I told her that I like her and all that sweet words soon and I told her maybe we can take this to a nearby hotel and she agrees.

"Ok, I promise," I said

"At the end of the event there will be a donation to the orphanage foundation and I want you to take part, so don't run away"

"Ok, no problem," I said

"You better find a girl and settled down as soon as possible, get married and have kids, you will be happy when you are going home that there is someone special you want to go and meet at home," He said

I said ok and we talk about other things, soon I left but still Bella as not come back, I did not go back to the company, I went straight to my penthouse except for the house help no one is living there apart from me and she goes back to her house when she finishes cleaning and cooking, I have never brought any woman inside my penthouse and I never I repeat again never fuck any woman inside my penthouse we always went to a hotel.

"Hello Mrs. Davis" I greet her it been a long time I saw her last because I always come back home late, after work I normally get a girl to fuck but today I don't feel like, don't know why

"Hi Mr. Scoot, how are you doing? It has been a long time, how is work? She asked me

"I am fine, please I am hungry, have you prepare anything to eat" I am so hungry right now

She said yes and prepares the table for me after I finish eating I went inside my bathroom and take a shower, so lie down on my bed, soon my phone rings and I pick it up

"Hello handsome, how about we meet today?" It is one of my flings

"Sorry sweetheart, I am so busy today, maybe next time," I said and hang-up the call

I am not in the mood to fuck today, am I sad because I did not see Bella today? Why will I be sad, it is not that I want any relationship with her? I just want to fuck her and let her go that is it, nothing else.

Soon my phone rings again and it is my Mom, I pick it up.

"Nickolas Scoot, please when will you give us a grandchild?" I know that there is a problem as soon as I hear her call me my full name.

"Hi Mom, I am fine, how are you and Dad?" I said try to change the topic because I am sure she wants to set me on another blind date.

"That is not the answer to my question Nick," She said

"Very soon Mom, when I get a good lady that is good to be your daughter-in-law, I will bring her to you and we will get married," I said but why am I thinking of Bella when I said, daughter-in-law.

"When is that Nickolas?" She asked

"Very soon mom" I said

She told me that there is a girl that she knows and she wants me to meet her, whenever my mom set me on a blind date it always turns out bad, the last time I went on a blind date arranged by my Mom, I and the girl end up in a hotel and she told me that she is not ready for any relationship. I told her that I will fix the date when am less busy and we said our goodbyes and hang-up. I put my phone down and sleep.
