Lily Hates Me: A Love Story — Chapter 60

I looked around for Tony after school. He usually hangs around at the back of the building with friends or some random girl every day when school ends. I wanted to ask him why I was being scolded by his side chicks.

I saw him standing around, leaned against the wall. Alone.

"Hey Tony," I said. He looked at me instantly and smiled. His blue eyes sparkled.

Something possessed me when he smiled at me. I ran up to him and threw my arms around him then pressed my lips against his. He grabbed my waist and my back then pressed me against the wall, kissing me with all of his might. I moaned against his mouth as he slipped his hand inside my shirt and caressed me.

Who am I? What am I doing? Why am I doing this!

His hands were exploring all over my body. He unzipped my shorts.

"WAIT!" I cried.

"What?" he looked at me with confusion.

"We are at school!" I exclaimed. Slowly coming to my senses.

"Oh right," he smirked and took his hands off of my body.

"The way you attacked me, it made me forget," he chuckled.

"S...sorry...I don't know what's wrong with me," I blushed. I never acted like this before. This was embarrassing. I should go see a therapist.

"You are so cute," he whispered and kissed my neck.

I waited till my breath became steady. "A...anyway...I came here to tell you to keep your women on check," I mumbled.

"My women?" he raised his eyebrows.

"Yes. I forgot to ask her name but she said something about rejecting her as your side chick because of me?" I looked at him questioningly.

"Yeah, so?" he countered.

"Well, what's that all about? Are you done whoring around?" I asked.

"What if I am?" he gave me a lopsided grin.

"But why?" I answered with another question.

"Jesus Summer, why are you acting like you aren't happy about this? You should be glad I stopped sleeping with other girls," Tony exclaimed.

"What do I care? Sleep with whoever you want," I scoffed.

"No," he said and gazed into my eyes with his piercing blue eyes. "I only want you."

"Come again?" I whispered.

"I only want to be with you," he brushed his lips on top of my lips.

"Wha..why.." my voice sounded meek as I asked quietly.

"Because I've fallen for you. I can't stop thinking about you. All I want to do is to touch you and taste you," he whispered and stroked my back slowly, spreading his warmth all over my body.

This was it. This was my chance for revenge.

"Well...I don't," I said. My voice shook a little. Be strong Summer.

"You don't what?" he squinted his eyes at me.

"I don't care about you, or...your feelings. I was just playing with you, just like you played with me," I said, mustering up some courage.

He let go of me. "What are you talking about?" Anger and confusion flickered in his eyes.

"I don't want you. You can go to hell! I gave you my first time because deep down I had feelings for you. But you treated me like some trash and went to play with some other girls. You hurt me Tony so now it's my turn to hurt you!" I declared.

"So what? You faked being into me so you could break my heart?" he asked.

Don't look at me with those pretty and sad eyes Tony, I won't fall for them again! I thought to myself.

"Yes. Goodbye. I am sure you'll be fine. There are plenty of other girls waiting for you but this ends here," I said and walked away without looking back.

I shot him down. This is exactly what I wanted. So then why does my heart hurt so much?

I ignored him for the next few days. I liked him way too much and I knew he could break me down anytime. It's better not to face him.

He caught me one day on my way to class.

"Stop avoiding me," he stared at me intently. "We need to talk about what happened," he said.

"There's nothing to talk about. You and I are done for good," I said firmly.

"You don't get to decide that by yourself," he said and pulled me away.

He took me under the stairs and pushed me against the wall. How do I always end up here?

"What do you want, Tony?" I sneered.

"You," he said.

"Well I don't want you back. I only played along so I  can break your heart," I said, trying to keep my cool.

"And you did," he took my hand and presses my palm against his heart. "You win. You stole my heart and you broke it. Now I want you to piece it back together," his eyes bored into me.

"And why the hell would I do that?" I asked.

"Because you love me, Summer. You caught me off guard the other day so I believed everything you said but I know you are lying. You love me," he said and kissed my fingers.

"You are wrong," I said.

"Stop being so stubborn and let me make up for my mistakes," he leaned down and buried his face in my hair. He slipped his hand inside my shirt and caressed my body. His warmth and the smell of his skin made me feel calm even though all I wanted to feel was anger and hatred towards him. I needed to stop this right away.

"Let go of me. You can't force your way into everything," I insisted. I won't back down, I am my father's daughter after all. And he taught me to stand my ground.

"Summer..."

"Let go," I said. My voice shook. Tears threatened to run down my cheeks but I held it back.

"Stop pushing me away. Please. I can't go another day without touching you and kissing you," he looked at me with sad eyes.

Fuck...why does he have to be so cute? Why.

"NO! Let go or I will kick you in the nuts," I threatened.

"Okay. But I won't let you abandon me like everyone else.  You will be mine," he said and kissed my forehead then let me go.

I walked over to my car, feeling dizzy. Why did I have to go and fall in love with that idiot? Did he really mean what he said? Why should I believe him?

I touched the door handle but before I could go inside, someone grabbed me from behind and pressed his palm on my mouth to muffle my scream. I struggled to get out of his grasp but he was too strong. I felt pain on the back of my neck, as if I was hit, then it was nothing but darkness.
