Lily Hates Me: A Love Story · Angela Lynn Carver
Chapter 44
Read online · About 5 minutes"Whoa Mrs. Philips! I had no idea Summer's mom was so gorgeous! I see where she gets her looks," my mom giggled as Tony exclaimed when I introduced him to her.
"Watch it boy, I won't tolerate you trying to flatter my wife right in front of me," dad scowled.
"Sorry sir, I was just momentarily stunned by her beauty so I was admiring her," Tony smirked.
"Alright Casanova, I didn't bring you here to hit on my mom. Let's go up to the roof," I waved my hands in frustration.
"There's better not be any funny business happening up there, because if there is, I'll know," dad said grimly.
"Yes dad," I said and dragged Tony away.
"I changed my mind about making you my wife. I think I'll become your stepfather instead," Tony said.
"Ewwwwwwe! I'm going to throw you off this roof," I said and glared at him.
"I'm joking! Jeez," he laughed.
"Anyway, why did you want to hang out with me? You never wanted to hang out with me before?" I asked.
"I don't know...thought maybe we could be good friends," Tony said distractedly.
Anthony Dean wants to be friends with a girl without an alterior motive? I don't think so.
"Hmm...I don't think I trust you," I said.
"Oh? Could it be because you are secretly attracted to me?" he smirked.
"In your dreams," I said.
He stepped a little closer. "I am attracted to you, Summer," he said. His piercing grey eyes bored into me.
"What are you talking about?" I chuckled nervously.
"I am saying, I'm interested in you. I think I want to sleep with you," he said.
Oh no. He had been behaving like a good guy all this time so I forgot about his infamous bad boy reputation. Why is he changing back all of a sudden?
"This isn't funny, Tony, so you better cut it out," I said.
"I'm not joking. I think you are hot and I want you. Most girls in our school like me and want to be with me but you always acted like I didn't exist. It is time we change that," he said gruffly and grabbed my wrist.
"Why are you doing this all of a sudden?" I demanded. "You haven't made any real move on me all this time and even encouraged me to go out with Anthony!"
"I was pretending so I could get closer to you. You don't get it, Summer. A guy like me don't like to be rejected. And you made me feel like a reject when you denied me. But that's okay, you are going to make it up to me with your body," he smirked.
I was speechless. How could I be so stupid and trust this guy!
Before I had the chance to say anything, he grabbed me by my waist and pulled me closer then smashed his lips on mine and kissed me. I tried to pull away but he was holding me too tightly. He slipped his tongue inside my mouth and continued to kiss me roughly. As if he was trying to devour me.
He finally pulled away. I used both of my hands to push him off.
"Our first kiss," he said. His voice was deep but there was no warmth in it.
"Y...you bastard!" I cried and raised my hand and smacked his cheeks as hard as I could.
Tony didn't even flinch when I slapped him and just smiled. I knew the slap was hard enough as I could see the red mark printed on his cheek.
"For a girl with a soft hand you sure slap hard," he remarked.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" I glared at him. If looks could kill, he would be so dead right now!
"Nothing is wrong. I'm only expressing my feelings," he said.
"Your feelings? You just forced yourself on me! Just because some other girls let you get inside their pants, doesn't mean I'll do the same. Just get out of my house!" I cried, seething in anger.
"Or what? You are going to slap me again? Go ahead," he said.
"If you don't leave, I'm going to scream," I threatened.
"If you try to scream I'll shut your mouth with another kiss," he threatened me back.
"Why are you acting like this?" I gulped. He was starting to scare me a little. If he could force a kiss on me he can do worse. I prepared myself to use my boxing skills I learned from my father.
"This is how I act. This is the real me. You don't like it? No matter. I'll sleep with you whether you like me or not. Check you off of my bucket list," he grinned.
Ugh...I've never felt this much hatred towards anyone before. I could strangle him right now!
"Fuck off, asshole," I said and gritted my teeth.
"Come on Summer, don't you want to know what it's like to have sex with Anthony Dean? Lots of girls would jump into the opportunity," he gave me his boyish smile that melted many teenage girl's heart. But to me, it looked cruel.
"I will never sleep with you. And to think, Anthony praised you and wanted you back as his friend. He is better off without you being around him. You are a jerk and a manwhore!" I exclaimed.
"Anthony is a nice guy and I'm willing to give him another chance to rekindle our friendship but that doesn't mean I'm going to let him have you first," he said.
"Leave, right now!" I screamed.
"Fine. We will continue this conversation another time. Bye Summer, dream about me," he winked and went out the door.
"AAAAAAAAH!" I screamed and pounded my fist on the kitchen table.
"What the hell? Are you okay, Summer?" my mom squinted at me.
"That asshole! That bottomfeeding, arrogant, fuckboy!" I rambled on.
"Hey! Watch your language," mom warned me.
"I'm going to kill him!" I declared.
"Ehh...need some help with that?" my dad commented. Bless him for always being on my side.
"Jacob! Not now," mom gave him a firm look and glanced back at me. "Who are you talking about?" she asked.
"Tony! He said...he just..." I stammered.
"What did he say?" dad looked at me curiously.
I shouldn't tell him exactly what he said. My dad will definitely kill him.
"Nothing, we had an argument," I sighed.
"Sounds like a hell of an argument," he said.
"I'm gonna go to my room and cool off," I said and headed upstairs.
I couldn't believe the conversation I just had with Tony. I hope he wasn't serious.
