Lily Hates Me: A Love Story · Angela Lynn Carver
Chapter 49
Read online · About 5 minutes"What do you mean by punishing me?" I asked Tony who was looking at me with lusty eyes. I can only imagine what he was thinking.
"I haven't decided what kind of punishment yet. But it's coming, don't worry," he grinned. If he wasn't already bruised, I would slap him right now.
"Look, I said I was sorry okay? I feel very bad. Does it hurt a lot?" I asked pointing at his bruises.
"Yes, they hurt like bitch. And you know what my mom used to do when I got hurt as kids?" he asked.
"What?" I asked and looked at him suspiciously.
"She kissed it to make it better," he winked.
I should've known that's the direction he was going to.
"I am not going to kiss you, Tony," I said.
"But I thought you said you feel really bad and you are sorry?" he asked and made a sad face.
"Yes, but..." I protested.
"I guess you don't care. Your sorry means nothing if you are not willing to make it up to me. You can go home now," he said and let go of my arm.
"This isn't fair! You can't guilt-trip me into kissing you! That's gotta be sexual harassment or something," I cried.
"Yeah, you are right. So just leave. Apology not accepted," Tony said and opened the front door. "I hope you can sleep soundly at night while I bear this pain for the next few days. I hope it was worth it," he said. His eyes were boring on me.
I can't believe this jerk. He was taking advantage of me because I was feeling bad! But I was still in the wrong for hurting him so I have no choice. It was just one little kiss anyway.
"Fine. I will kiss you. You pervert," I said quietly.
His eyes lit up. "Oh? Well then lay it on me," he smirked.
I leaned forward and pressed my lips on his and gave him a peck. "There, a kiss. Do you forgive me now?" I asked.
"Nope. That wasn't a real kiss. Come here," he said and pulled me back inside then pushed me against the wall. He cupped my cheeks. He covered my mouth with his and tried to slip his tongue inside but I wouldn't let him in. He pulled away and looked me in the eyes with such intensity that I felt shivers down my spine.
"Open your mouth," he said in a husky voice.
I parted my mouth automatically, giving in to his demand. He tilted my face and kissed me again, slipping his tongue inside my mouth. I didn't pull away this time and found myself kissing him back, eyes closed shut. What was wrong with me? Why don't I feel like pulling away?
His arms encircled me and pulled me closer to him, deepening the kiss. His hand slipped under my shirt. I should push him away now, I thought but made no effort to do that. It was as if I lost all of my willpower all of a sudden.
But his hand didn't move any farther than the small of my back. He moved it up and down and stroked it lightly then took it away. Ah, why did he stop?
Tony stopped kissing me and pulled away first. I didn't open my eyes right away. My body still felt the sensation of his warm hands. And it felt good.
"The kiss is over. You may now open your eyes and run away in disgust," he chuckled.
My eyes snapped open. That's right. That should've been my normal reaction. I think my body is malfunctioning!
"Oh...um...yea, I'll leave," I said. My face was hot. No...not just my face, my entire body was hot and I felt ashamed.
"Hey, are you okay? Did you hate it that much that you can't even look me in the eyes?" Tony remarked.
Thank god he was too dense to realize It wasn't hatred I was feeling. It was lust. He doesn't need to know. I can't let him win!
"I'm fine! Just glad it's over," I said. Trying to hide my blushed cheeks with my hair.
"Okay...great. Thanks for coming in to check on me. As you can see it takes a lot more than a few punches to get rid of me. Maybe next time you should kill me instead," he smirked.
"I just might," I smirked. Gotta admire the guy for taking everything so lightly. And how can he still look so cute with all those bruises on his face?
Cute? Stop calling him cute Summer, just stop. I gave myself a mini pep talk then slapped myself as hard as I could.
"What the fuck?" Tony looked at me weird.
O shit, forgot he was still standing in front of me.
"Teehehe....it's nothing. Bye now!" I said quickly and ran off. I am so stupid.
I hope he didn't notice how badly I was blushing. That would've been bad. I've never been the type of girl to get all flustered over a kiss like that. Especially not from someone like Anthony Dean. But I could feel my heart thumping against my chest each time I remembered his warm, wet...
Guuuuhhhh! No!...stop thinking about it!
I sped home. I needed to put as much distance between us as possible. I would move out of the country if I have to.
"Well, how was it? Did it go well?" Mom asked as soon as I stepped inside.
It went well alright. A little too well.
"Yea. He forgave me," I said meekly.
"See? I told you. He is not as bad, is he? You should try and give him a chance. I gave your father a chance and now we have you," she smiled.
I instantly imagined myself running around behind two little kids with Tony's piercing blue eyes. Then violently shook my head in an attempt to clear my thoughts.
"He is not like dad. He is not head over heels in love with me," I said dismissively.
"You never know," my mom winked and continued to cook.
I highly doubted he had any type of feelings toward me. He just wanted my body. I've dated enough bad boy types to know the truth. But as far as me...what was I feeling? Maybe I just wanted his body too. I need to figure out how to get rid of these thoughts about him.
