"Thanks for the help, shorty. I was starting to wonder how I would ever get rid of her," Anthony smirked.

"Wait...did you bring me here so you could pretend to have another girlfriend to get rid of Lucy?" I asked.

"It's Lacy. And yes. It worked wonderfully because you are quite hot so that makes it believable that we are dating," Anthony said.

"Why didn't you just ask if you needed my help instead of kidnapping me in the middle of the day?" I asked.

"Would you have agreed to the plan?" he looked at me questioningly.

"Nope, it's a dumb plan," I said.

"See? And it's not a dumb plan because she is gone," Anthony smiled as he was satisfied with the result.

"Oh, but that means I am fully single now. So how about you and me..." Anthony started to say.

"NO! Not in a million years. I am going home!" I declared and started to leave the cafe but stopped. My eyes fixated on a teenage boy wearing a gray jacket. He was sitting by a window and typing something on his laptop. It was none other than Anthony Turner!

"I thought you were leaving?" Anthony Dean asked.

"Um...I think I am going to stay a bit. But our business transaction is over so you can leave," I said.

"What the hell are you looking at....oh," he stopped talking as he figured out who was sitting by the window.

"Ah, I see. It's the loser with my name but can never be me," he brushed his fingers through his hair. So self-centered.

"I am gonna go talk to him directly. Forget the note," I said distractedly.

"Why don't you forget about him, Summer? What's so special about him?" Anthony asked.

"Unlike you, he is kind, intelligent, and good looking! You are just an asshole with shitty personality," I gave it to him straight.

"OUCH! You really hurt me just now," he said but he was smiling. Bastard doesn't give a shit about my opinion of him.

"Whatever, if you will excuse me, I am going to go talk to him now," I said and pushed him off to the side and strode over to Anthony Turner.

"Hey!" I said brightly. Anthony Turner looked up from his computer. Confusion flickered in his eyes.

"I am Summer. I am in your English class," I tried again.

"Yeah, I know but why are you talking to me?" he asked.

"What do you mean? Why wouldn't I? I am sorry, am I bothering you?" I attacked him with a string of questions.

"Oh no no, you aren't bothering me. Sorry I wasn't trying to be rude. It's just that I know how popular you are so I am just taken aback because you are talking to me suddenly," Anthony smiled.

"Well I've seen you around and I think you are a cool guy so I wanted to get to know you," I gave him a flirty smile. Take the hint, Anthony.

He looked even more surprised. Do guys at school think I am unapproachable or what? Evil Anthony would disagree.

"You do? Wow, Summer, I had no idea you..." he started to say something but was interrupted by the devil himself.

"Hey, kids! Having a nice conversation?" Anthony grinned at us.

Ugh! What does he want now?

"Get out of here Anthony," I cried.

"Huh? Me? But I was here first," Anthony Turner responded and looked at me quizzically.

"No not you. This Anthony!" I pointed at the imbecile who stood in front of me.

Anthony Dean grinned. "Just call me Tony if it's messing with your brain that much," Anthony aka Tony said.

"Okay, Tony...please leave. I'm trying to have a private conversation with Anthony," I said.

"Well now all three of us are having a conversation," Tony pulled up a chair and sat in front of us. The nerve of this boy!

"Eh...guys... it's great that you are eager to talk to me but I've gotta finish my homework," Anthony said and pointed at the laptop.

"Oh come on, stop being a nerd, Summer has something important to tell you, let's hear it Summer," Tony smirked.

I see what this jerk is doing. He is trying to make me more nervous and uncomfortable by staring at me while I ask Anthony out. Well, I won't be defeated and let him sabotage this. He can kiss my...

"What did you want to ask me, Summer?" Anthony asked me, interrupting my thought process. He looked at me curiously.

"Well...um...The Fall Festival!" I exclaimed all of a sudden.

"Huh? What about it?" he asked.

"Would you wanna...maybe...go with me?" I asked. There, I did it.

"Awe she just asked you on a date. I can't wait for your answer, Turner," Tony cooed from the side. I glared at him. I forgot he was sitting there.

"Eh...well about that," Anthony hesitated.

"You don't have to say yes if you don't want to!" I said quickly. Please say yes, please say yes!

"Sure, what the heck?" Anthony shrugged.

"Great! I'll see you there," I said and got up.

"That's so cute. I can't wait to see how this relationship progresses. Can I be the best man at your wedding?" Tony grinned.

"I'll see you later Anthony. Excuse us," I said and grabbed Tony's t-shirt then dragged him out of the cafe.

"What is your problem?" I barked.

"What do you mean?" he asked innocently.

"Why were you hovering over me and Anthony, making smart ass comments?" I asked angrily.

"I was just showing my support for the two love birds. What's your problem chica?" Tony feigned confusion.

"Ugh! Never mind. You are so annoying. I am going home," I shook my head and took my phone out to call an uber.

"I'll drop you off," he said and took my phone away.

"Dude! Don't you have anything better to do?" I asked.

"I am bored," he shrugged.

"Fine, I'll let you drop me off since you dragged me out here in the first place," I said, giving up.

Luckily, Tony didn't do anything to annoy me on the way to my house. The ride was quiet and peaceful.

"Thanks. You are not so bad when you aren't bullying kids," I said.

"Cool. And you aren't a frigid bitch like I thought you were.

What? Is that what some people think about me at school. I'll admit I turn down guys a lot when they ask me out on dates but I never thought they would form this kind of opinion about me. Does Anthony think of me that way too?
