Lily Hates Me: A Love Story — Chapter 26

Lily laid there for a few moments, not moving.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah...I just never felt like this before," she said.

I smirked. "That's right, I am the man!"

Lily rolled her eyes. "Don't make me regret this," she said.

"Oh, whatever. Now if you'll excuse me I need to go home and uh...take care of something." I got up. Going down on her made things ten times worse for my raging boner. Now I had to take care of this before I run into someone and completely embarrass myself.

"Why what's wrong?" Lily asked.

Oh, my sweet innocent princess.

"Errm...well since we didn't have sex...I'm still very much turned on. So unless I go take care of this right now, things could get real awkward, real quick," I said.

She looked down and saw my hard-on and her face turned red immediately.

"I'm sorry, I've never had a boyfriend or been with a guy so...I didn't know what to do or how..." she didn't finish her sentence. I could see she was struggling to hide her embarrassment. She looked away to avoid my gaze. She is so freaking adorable, I thought.

I quickly cupped her cheek and forced her to look me in the eyes.

"Hey, it's okay, princess. Don't worry about me. I'm a guy so this is normal. You don't have to do anything you aren't ready to do. I love you okay?" I said gently.

"I love you, Jacob," she said, smiling.

I gave her a quick kiss and left the house. Guess I'll be taking a cold shower tonight.

The next day, I met up with Lily during lunch. She was waiting for me at our usual spot again. Thank God that douche Darren was out of our lives and things are back to normal again. I quickly walked up to her and kissed her on the forehead.

"Hey beautiful," I said.

Lily smiled brightly and snuggled against me.

"I see you guys are back together," someone spoke so I looked up, it was Sarah.

"Yeah," Lily said shyly.

"That's great!" Sarah said. "By the way, have you guys heard from Darren? I texted him last night but didn't get any answer."

I guess Sarah had no idea that Darren was just using her.

"Um..about Darren, we kinda fought, I'll tell you about it later," Lily said.

Sarah frowned. I felt bad for her since she really seemed to like the guy. She wanted to ask more questions but the bell rang so we headed to our classes.

After school, I went to help in the shop again. My least favorite part of the day. Ever since that day, things have a lot tenser between him and me. I hated him all my life but it only intensified more after what he did to me. I tried to avoid him as much as possible in that tiny store.

"Go stock up those shelves instead of standing there like a useless monkey," he barked at me.

"Yes sir," I said in a sarcastic tone and quickly walked away.

I worked my ass off for the next few hours. I wanted to go home and crash by the time it was time to close the shop, but my phone rang all of a sudden.

"Hey bro what's up? Wanna come over and have a couple of beer with us?" Marco said on the other line.

I was tired but his offer sounded better than being home.

"Yeah sure," I said. "Cool if I bring Lily?"

"Yeah that's fine," he said.

I quickly texted Lily and she agreed to come out so I went to her house to pick her up.

"Are you sure it's okay for me to come over?" Lily asked. "Last time I was there one of your friends didn't like it too much."

"Who? Are you talking about Keira? Don't worry about her. She is just...she doesn't like anyone I am with." I said.

"Well no duh, that's what I am saying. What if she tries to beat me up to get you back?" Lily said.

"Then you'd have to kick her ass to defend your man's honor obviously," I smirked.

"No way, I'm not the fighting type," she said.

"GASP! You won't fight for your man?" I said, pretending to look hurt. "Maybe I'll just ditch you and let her do dirty things to me."

Lily jabbed me on the ribs making me whelp. "Absolutely not! You are mine!"

I laughed and pressed my lips on hers. "Don't worry, I am just kidding. You are the only one allowed to touch me inappropriately."

"You are dumb," Lily said and laughed.

We arrived at Marco's house. I saw Trayce lounging by the fireplace but didn't see Keira anywhere. Good, I thought. The last thing I need is drama.

"Oh good, the lover boy has arrived," Marco announced and a couple of other kids laughed.

"Fuck off asshole!" I laughed and punched his shoulder.

"I see you are still with this douche bag," Marco said to Lily. "He must be giving you some good D."

Lily made a face, her face slowly turning red.

"You should stop thinking about my dick all the time then you might finally get a girlfriend," I remarked and Marco gave me the finger.

We spent the next few hours hanging out and playing video games. I was worried Lily would be uncomfortable but she blended right in after a few minutes. I was happy she was opening up more.

"I should go home, we have to get up early for school tomorrow remember?" she told me after a few hours.

I looked at the time and it was already after 10 pm. "You are right, sorry I lost track of time," I said and we headed out.

I parked in front of her house and started to kiss her goodbye. As I started to pull away she grabbed my neck and deepened the kiss. I was surprised at first but started to get lost in her kiss. She tasted sweet. I loved her so much.

"Thanks for coming out with me tonight," I said after she broke the kiss. "I know my friends aren't usually the kind of people you would associate with but..."

"There's nothing wrong with your friends," she said quickly. "And I love you."

"I love you too," I smiled.
