A Fateful Chance — Chapter 18: NIGHT OF A LIFETIME

Deandra's POV

I can't help but to worry about Andrew. Will he be alright there? He's all alone as he drank in that pub. If only I have a lot of money, I won't work tonight. I will just accompany him because I felt like he needed me the most now. I am very much worried about him but what can I do? I still have to go to my other night job as a receptionist inside a small inn every weekend.

I will start my work at 4:00 PM and I will end there at 8:00 PM. I walked past that pub as I hurried inside the inn for my duty. I can see that the customers are starting to go inside.

I am entertaining guests and answering their queries but my mind is wandering somewhere else. What will happen to Andrew there? Will he be alright?

"Miss...please guide me to the third floor. I am not familiar with this place."

"Yes, ma'am. I will be very glad to assist you."

I was too focused at my work when one of my colleagues walked past me. He looked shocked that he glanced at his wristwatch.

"Hey, are you not planning to go home?"

"Huh? What time is it?" I was shocked as I looked at my wristwatch.

"Well, it's time to go home and take a good rest." He smiled as he winked. I can see that he has already packed his bag and put it on his back. He waved his hands as he walked towards our small exit door exclusively for employees only.

"Bye, Deandra. Take care."

"Bye, Lee! I will also get ready to go home. Thank you so much for reminding me."

"Anytime." He smiled as he walked outside. I sighed as I moved fast. I suddenly remembered Andrew. I have to go back to that pub to check on him. Before I went to work, I noticed that he was already down with three bottles of beer on his table. Is he out of his mind? The way I know him, he's not the type that would drink alcoholic beverages that often.

I am concerned for him because nobody accompanied him to drink. What will happen to him and his wallet and keys? What if he will pass out there all alone?

I walked fast and as soon as I reached the pub, I saw him sleeping on one of the tables. He's resting his head on his arm and I can see no less than eight bottles of beer standing in front of him. I started to worry because I can see that he already passed out because of too much binge drinking.

I walked towards him and tried to shake him but he's not even answering.

"Drew? Please wake up. We will go home now." I murmured but I didn't get any response. It's like I am only talking to myself because he's very hard to wake up because of his situation now.

"Ma'am," One of the waiters called my attention. I never noticed he already followed me as I went near Andrew. When I saw him, he looked at me from head to toe. He shifted his gaze to Drew and then to me.

"Are you his girlfriend?" He asked as if he doesn't want to even hear his own question.

"No, I'm not. I am a good friend of his and I am getting him out of here because I am concerned about what he just did."

"Okay, ma'am. I am so sorry. He already paid for everything." He confessed while taking a glance at Andrew, too.

"I will bring him home." He nodded. I asked the help of the bouncers to bring him inside his car. Thankfully, I can drive and I drove him to his condominium unit based on the address that's on his wallet. I parked his car in his own parking area. I can still feel my knees shaking. His car is too expensive, I'm able to drive it the slowest as I could. I might scratch the car and cause trouble. I can't imagine myself paying for his car or those things I knew I can't afford.

The condominium is really big and classy. It is really obvious that it is only for the wealthy. After a series of interrogation, I successfully got inside his unit with his keys.

He slept like a log that's why I am having a hard time putting him to bed. I looked around and I admire him for being organized. I got a small basin and filled it with cold water. Good thing I was able to find a tiny towel. I walked towards him as he lies on the bed.

I looked at him from head to toe. He looked helpless and peaceful at the same time. He's really drunk. I want to lessen his hangover.

"Oh gosh forgive me please." I touched the hem of his collared t-shirt and pulled it upwards. I swallowed as I looked at his abs. I suddenly have the urge within me to touch it if it is real.

"Goodness gracious..." He's one, hot man. However, I have to give him a cold compress. He needs to recover from what he felt. What if he still had his class tomorrow? From what I knew about pre-law students, they have busy schedules.

I also unzipped his pants and I gasped when I saw his huge bulge.

"This is too much of a temptation for a day." I spent a lot of minutes giving him a cold bath until I could see him moving his eyes as he gently groaned.

"Please don't do this to me. I am trying to save myself from getting tempted." I can't help but to whisper in his ear. I'm shocked when he pulled me on top of him. I got outbalanced that my body lay flat on him as my arms wrapped around his shoulders.

"Please, don't leave me anymore. Tell me that it isn't true. Please, sweetheart." He said as he held my head closer to his. He narrowed his gaze on my lips and kissed me deep. I closed my eyes and before I knew it, I kissed him back. We rolled on the bed and he's on top of me now.

"Sweetheart...I love you so much."

Everything went so wild. As my heart beat really fast, so is his hands in undressing me. Sweetheart? Love? Did he just call me those endearing words? Was it all really intended for me? I want to forget it all for the meantime. As my skin did not miss any of his kisses, I recalled the first time I saw him on that narrow road. On how I blamed him for getting my money but it turns out to be the most epic of all because I put it to my right pocket.

On how he talked to me for the first time as he flashed his genuine smile at me. How will I ever forget his goodness as he gave me a 1000-peso bill for the birthday of Dahlia? He saved me from sure humiliation because I promised to buy food for my sister.

As he kissed me from my lips deep down, I just realized that I didn't just like him for his goodness. I didn't just like him because of his personality but because I am already in love...I am in love with someone I don't even own. He gently spread my legs wide. I don't like how my body responded to his every touch. It's as if I was made for him and he was made for me. I kissed him wild and with passion.

But right now, as he entered me, I am sure I own him throughout the night.
