Falling in Love Was Not the Plan — Chapter 8

The cruel rays of the sun kissed Alex's face without his consent hence making him twitch along with loud whimper. Tiredness was written all over his face, the swollen stain lips of his with her lipstick showed how tiring the night was.

But honestly, he wouldn't forget as to how amusing it was. No guy would imagine having his girlfriend sneaking into his apartment under his absence and turning the place into a dumping yard just to show that it was some burglar who did that. But when he'd slowly follow the noise coming directly from his bedroom he'd reach there only to see the best moment of his bore life— his girlfriend on the bed just in a bed sheet.

Any ways, with a yawn Alex wide stretched his hands letting the rays to cover his body wholly. He expected to caress Perry's body next to him and surprisingly his mind realized, she was not there beside him.

"Perry, babe?" Alex called slightly pushing his skull out of the pillow so as to look at the wash room's door. He waited for a moment or to anticipating to get a reply from within, in fact he was curious to listen to her voice after their make out which happened subsequently, a month later. "Hmmm, I should have known."

He sat up right on the bed chewing his cheek. It was his maddest habit. He would chew his cheek in the times of disappointment where things were supposed to be something else but happened to occur something else!

Perry and he had already lost the zeal of their relationship. The soul, the excitement that used to be there earlier was all gone. In fact, if you ask them honestly, you would just get the answer in no clearly stating that things have gone bad between them right after they crossed three months of their dating.

"Ugh, why do I feel so annoyed? She left means that she left. What is the big deal in it!" He talked to himself, at the same time, his eyes gawking at the floor. It was left in the same condition, rather it looked worse than what it seemed in the night. "Fuck, Alex... You were supposed to see Amara in the library in the early morning" Amidst his deep thoughts where he was (obviously) annoyed on his girlfriend who left him sleeping on the bed without having given him any reason for her leave, Alex noticed the time. The clock shows 8.45 am in the freaking ungrateful bad morning.

He had called Amara while he was returning home last night from the club that he would be grateful if they could meet and talk in person. Also, he had mentioned how sorry he was for his rude behaviour and wanted to make up to it but look at his bad luck... He got late. All thanks to his girlfriend, duh.

And after that, means right after having seen the clock Alex worked fast like a machine. He seldom took fifteen minutes to clean up the mess and vacuum clean the entire apartment, he finished his bath in the same time which would otherwise have taken a good time in the bath tub, he also didn't waste time choosing his clothes today but rather wore the very first set of clothes that got in his grip during his shady search. And by the time if was 9.30 am, he was inside the college building with thousands of eye balls scanning him like Xerox machine for making a photocopy of him, in their mind.

Alex moved from class to class looking for Amara. Luckily, the second lecture just ended when he entered the college that gave him a good opportunity to search her without having to roam anywhere. "Hey sexy!" While he was searching a class, Alex was pinned to the wall suddenly that his head experienced a hard jerk. "Were you looking for me?" It was Bella, she leaned on him in a manner that her womanhood ground against his fiercely.

It was an addictive mood and it did make Alex yearn to have more of it nevertheless his focus for now was on something else. Although his body reacted positively toward Bella's approach but surprisingly, he actually didn't have the time to take it anyway further than this.

They could probably have a good experience in the evening, but now it was only Amara that spread everywhere in her mind. "Sorry babe, we can't do it now. Have some work to get done with Amara." Informed Alex with a small smile showing his regret.

As obviously as it was visible on her face, Bella scrunched her nose looking away right after the mention of the class's nerdy topper hit her ear drums. She awfully snarled near his ear lobe expressing her disappointment— nah, jealousy. "Amara? Why would you want to see that nerdy bitch in the morning. Come on Ali, let's have some fun." Expressed Bella seductively biting her lower lip.

"I wish if I could say that I am not really interested in seeing Ama... I mean, seeing that 'nerdy bitch' but..." He imitated Bella, his voice playful while he swiftly pulled her for a quick smooch before resuming, "as you can see, she is that pawn which can only and only help me get through with the final semesters, so I will have to do it." He pouted after kissing her jaw.

Now that it was very well clear, that the meet was selfish, the motive was selfish and that Alex was doing it for a purpose, Bella happily let him loose from her clutch. "Oh well, who am I to stop you then! Go ahead, hun. I'd see you in the evening at our usual place, bye." With that Bella placed a light and quick peck on his cheek earlier than she vanished from his view in the opposite corridor after exiting the classroom.

He so wished to follow her inside the class and have some fun with her as it was needed for the time being. Having been annoyed by his girlfriend, he really needed some push in life. Sadly, he had other important work as well, in life. And the most important one as for now was... Meeting Amara, the topper.

So, with a deep breath Alex fixed his clothes and hair by looking his blur reflection in the dusty glass of the notice board, "Okay, let's go and meet that nerdo ass." he winked at his reflection not before he turned around to move but stopped just right there after realizing that— there was Amara standing at the mouth of the opposite corridor, looking hurt.

Shit, she saw everything!
