Falling in Love Was Not the Plan — Chapter 5

It is good to be clever but bad to show that off!

God has made everyone keeping in mind some element that makes them different from others. Be it the appearance, IQ or their emotional behaviour or for that matter their background yet it is advisable to never show that off.

And what Amara tried to do back there outside the library was humiliating. Like really! He was not good in study does not give her any right to ask him questions when she knows that well he would not be able to answer. "I really hate her now." Alex pursed his lips working on his hair. His irises rose a sense of dizziness indicating his seriousness toward the upcoming examinations.

He could continue the studies until now if Martin would not have called him. The credits goes to him that he convinced Alex to join him and their other friends over a drink to their fav club, The Devil's Spot. His hands worked in styling his hair into spiky ones as his mind lingered on her words from time to time.

It was not that he wasn't trying to avoid her. He gets way more cocky comments from others and that never mattered until today. Why? It was simple, she was trying to make of him when he was working her to fair in the exams. That was unethical of her.

Anyways why wasting time thinking about people who don't deserve your attention?

Alex thought the same as he put on his dark green t-shirt with full sleeves that indeed suited him once he was done. No doubts why he was called the star of the college! His style statement was enough to convey what kind of hunk he was.

The black jeans paired up with dark green knickers added to his attire. He winked at his reflection in the mirror. He looked hot, typical hot Alex Ragnar that he was. While the lights were put off and the windows were closed, Alex locked the door of his apartment whistling a happy tune.

He entered the elevator going through his messages and other stuff on social media until his caught something unnerving! "what the!" the exclamation spoke of his daze while the floor kept passing by and the ground floor came in no time.

His pink fawning lips curved into a perfect O as he zoomed his retina at the screen of his phone. The door opened with a ding leading him out. Alex scratched his hair moving toward his back Lamborghini twitching and licking his lips for the curiosity has taken over the best of him.

He cannot really trust his eyes, it was that dazing. Amara has sent him some notes that she has made during the lectures. She had even sent sone messages referring him with utmost respect.

'Hi, this is Amara (the girl, who met you outside the library, remember?)'

'I am sorry you felt offended on my words but I just wanted to help you. Before I can clear your doubts about me, you left'

'Anyways that is not important, what important is, is your studying style'

'I would appreciate if you could avoid referring those big fat digests, they are useless'

He bit the corner of his lips resting his butt on the hood of his car whilst going through the set of PDF files she sent him. It was hard to read the diagrams but the points made it easy for him to understand them. And to be honest, he already understood three theories that he wasted the entire day mugging up!

His head shook from side to side as his bewilderment clearly took a shape of a sudden smile. Alex rocked his phone in the mid air, thinking about her. "Dude, is she really a human! Damn it, she literally solved half of my problems. Uhh may be she understood I needed her help." he kept thinking about the reasons that could make her help him.

Never mind, he still have the whole night and the next day to see these notes; he must get going to the Devil's Spot. His friends need to know this good news. With a jump of victory and strong hope of getting passed he adjusted himself inside the car, driving it away on the road with other vehicles.

Girls drooled, guys jealously glared him and his friends cheered his arrival as soon as he stepped toward the vip booth where his friends sat. His smile was enough to say he was happy and confusing too as he has been crazy since the morning but now all of a sudden seeing him enter tension free left everyone perplexed.

Alex sat with a jump on the couch between Martin and Charlie high fiving Daniel and some other friends. "Sup guys!" He greeted them all with a smirk comforting himself.

The booth was circular in shape with couches adjusted in a circle with a round big glass table in the front. There were hookah stands, several trays containing vodka shots, a stand holding a champagne bottle as the dry ice increased the beauty of the preparation as to how things were placed on the table.

Alex picked up a glass pouring himself some champagne from the opened bottle getting himself busied talking to Charlie.

His smile was too unnerving for the guys other than his friends that they tried their best to get his goats with their words. "I really want to get something off my chest, Alex! How can you be so joyous dude. Exams are up and you have some nothing. Don't tell me you want to repeat the year." it was Samy, the snake in his sleeve who stayed with Alex for fame speaking with a chuckle.

His long neck lenght hairs floated in the breezy booth while he sipped some vodka. The tatooes on his arms glistened in the dim lights of the club and eyes staring Alex for an answer. The ones who sat beside him in the couch across Alex— Peter, John and James bust into fits of laughter like that was the funniest joke of the day.

Very soon their laughter died and faces replacing that with the looks of nervousness watching the badboy glaring them sternly.

Hmmm, they just woke up his devil!
