Falling in Love Was Not the Plan — Chapter 21

Amara paid utmost attention to her words. First time in life, she witnessed Bella looking so serious. She would not be joking to her though. She really had something crucial to share about Alex with her. "But why me? Why don't you share it with his friends! Why me." Asked Amara holding a cluster of pages between her thumb and forefinger.

She was curious yet confused as the college's sassy girl was sitting across her with a crucial info about the college's football captain. But was Amara even worth of getting it in the first place!

"I am not even his friend so why me!" Bella smiled pulling the goggles that she has placed on her head.

She was not shock seeing Amara and her delicate frankness. She was though kind of fumbling and looking nervous as she was sitting the most confident girl of the college, yet she had the courage to frankly to speak the truth.

Bella rather smiled, she leaned on the table across her and placed both of her elbow on it while joining her palms together, looking extremely hot in that position. Her cleavage became visible to the eyes of people sitting behind Amara in the corner tables.

"I know that dear Amara... However, what I want to tell you about Alex is related to you. That's why I am sitting here... With you. Otherwise, do you think I am so mad that I will waste my precious time by conversing to you over nothing!" said Bella as a matter of factly with a toothy smile.

What means wasting time can be learned from Amara. She was doing nothing but wasting her time by sitting with Bella who probably had no work to do. On the contrary, there were works piled up in Amara's today's schedule.

She was to go to the library and revise all the subjects, submit the remaining assignments, go to the super market and get a bottle of coffee as she was supposed to study all night from today until the day of exams and above all, see to it that her notes were working for Alex.

"Alright, tell me what is it." Amara remixed her specs from her bag pack.

She wore it timidly while Bella can only roll her eyes in pure yuck! Was Alex really trying to hit on her? Amara looked awful in that pair of specs. She can only be used a one night stand... Nothing more than that if Alex was behind the nerdy topper for her virginity!

Never mind, Bella was least interested in reading her physical features. Her main cause for meeting this nerdy chick was something else. "Okay... Amara, I wanted you to know that Alex is che—"

"Bellaaaaa!!!" Interrupting her words, a loud voice resonated in the whole canteen addressing Bella.

So intense and loud that she almost jumped in her seat feeling terrified. "What the fuck!" Bella hissed as the person ruined all the seriousness she has created around them!

She turned her head behind her only to find Martin, Daniel and Charlie sending her flying kisses. Her eyes rolled watching how the maniacly approached her by jumping and leaping from the door to their table.

"Hi beauty queen!" Martin forced his lips into smile while he took a seat next to Amara.

His pupils give the nerdy topper next to her a small glance before he turned back to Bella.

Charlie on the other hand sat on the unoccupied seat next to Bella's. His fingers moved in circles as they played with her hair turning her real irritated. Daniel pulled out a chair from other table side which was empty and sat extremely close to Bella such that their laps brushed.

She was feeling sick of these guys and astonished too. They never hit on her together. Why were they doing it now!

"Hmm may I know the sacred reason of your uninvited appearance?" She was indirectly asking them as to why did they come here when not wanted. The rest was conveyed by her poker face.

Bella made sure she conveyed her disinterest to them. These three idiots had to come now only when she was going to tell Amara about their sexy friend's little secret! Her mind was getting madder and madder by the very thought.

"We missed you." Charlie announced with a next following next and Bella understood he was lying.

"no no... We have a surprise for you baby, that is why we are here" it was Daniel this time who spoke and eventually Bella rolled her irises not believing these dumb fuck boys.

"Shut the fuck up Dan! Stop lying to her. Just her the truth already." With a small sigh Martin uttered, unlike his friends he looked a bit serious. "Okay baby doll... We have a present for you. Actually Alex told us to take you in the back of the college building, he said he has something for you" he whispered the last sentence in her ear so that Amara can't hear that.

But honestly Amara was least interested in their talks. She had gathered her stuff to leave nevertheless she could not dare to walk up on them like that. They were not only the famous people's of the college but also well known bullies!

She was impatiently waiting for them to leave so that she can take her heels away from here and never appear while they are around. Unfortunately these guys were not ready to leave.

"Really! Alex has called me. So sweet of him to plan me a surprise. I will just go and meet him." With that being uttered Bella immediately hopped out of her seat, she marched towards the exit gate with long stride not being able to hold her excitement of meeting Alex.

But on a serious note, had not she come here to make a revelation regarding Alex's secret!

Amara wondered looking shocked just by how Bella almost ran out of the canteen leaving her to herself.

That was not the end of the story though. Just as Bella ran out the exit at once, Martin and his friends quickly got off their seats and turned to face Amara. At their very movement poor Amara's heart beats raced feeling heck scared.

Was that a trick to Bella shove away so that Amara can be bothered by these guys?

The very feeling caught her off guard, and she began trembling until Martin cleared, "Amara, Alex is waiting for you in the old library. He has something for you." Her brows cocked up being perplexed.

Did not the same guy told a few minutes ago that Alex was waiting to see Bella in the back side of the school?

What the heck were these guys up today?

Any ways Amara only nodded in approval. She would believe their words and go the library than sitting here with them. Who knows when their mind changes, and they start ragging or bullying her! They were capable of anything.

"Also, just... Uh, Amara I would request you to stay away from Bella. She is not a good influence on you." Martin spoke before Amara picked her bag.

The guys saw how quickly she reached the door and was out of it. The three of the buddies smiled at each other as Daniel spoke, "Plan A is successfully accomplished. Let's move forward to executing Plan B" He said and the three guys were out of the canteen behind Amara while the students in there astonishingly saw their retreating bodies.

What were they upto?

Lying frequently for a benefit is riskier. A person has to bear a lot of tension and encounter uninvited scenarios.

Alex swigged his saliva relating his condition to those words. He was sailing in that boat currently as a small lie for the sake of his studies was costing him too much.

Not really, but only Alex knows how he was taming everything in his life.

He was biting his lower lip looking lost. Something was really bothering him. "Alex!" He forced a smile when Amara called him. He was kind of relieved seeing her.

"Hi, thanks for coming. I hope you were not busy." Alex asked as his hand tapped on a seat next to him.

They were in the old library where student hardly visited. That's because the old library was too old with too many books relating to old literature. The design of the room was also quite old like it was from the Shakespeare's time.

Another thing was students of this college hardly visited any library in the college except student like Amara. These libraries were opened twenty four seven for these students.

"I saw Martin telling Bella that you were waiting her in the back of the college. You had a— surprise for her." Her voice lowered as soon as she reached the end of her sentence.

There was sadness laced in her voice. She did not want to sound sad but what can she do... This guy was affecting her since a long time. Especially, his love life.

"Yep, I know that. I told Martin to take Bella there so that you can come and meet me here."

"Really? Why would you do that."

"Uh, I have something to tell you Amara."

"Alex, is it the same 'something' which Bella was going to tell me?"

On her interrogation Alex turned his face away on the other side. Well, that something was she was sitting here.

With the help of some friends who knew why Alex was hanging out with Amara, he got to know that Bella was all set on spilling his truth to Amara. She was going to tell her the truth regarding his lies and why he was with her.

And to prevent her do that, he with his three friends made two plans— Plan A and Plan B. As per the Plan A, the three friends would take Bella to the back of the college and help Alex meet Amara while the Plan B was— to keep Bella there until Alex and Amara were done with this truth telling thing.
