Falling in Love Was Not the Plan — Chapter 19

Two days later,

In the night,

11.39 pm.

Bella furiously kicked the empty cane of soft drink on the ground. "That whore! She thinks she can seduce my Alex!" she angrily grumbled stumbling with her steps.

Her dizzy eyes showed that she was drunk. Her body alternatively swayed from left to right still she maintained herself. "No ways! That is impossible." The saline drops appearing within her socket showed she was angry.

But why?

What would make the bad girl cry?

So to answer these two questions... It all happened an hour back when she was going back to her apartment after a quick party.

Flashback...

"White shirt... Now... Red my bloody nose..."

Bella sang kicking a stone. She swirled around in her high stilettos with a quick shout.

She was on her way to her apartment when she saw something in the way. 'Isn't that Alex? Yes, he is.' Bella tapped her finger on her chin. There was indeed Alex sitting on the hood of his car.

"But what is he doing outside the girls hostel?" She spoke loudly to herself watching Alex curiously.

Her apartment was a few yards away from the college. And the girls hostel was just in the mid way too. She was following the same path only when she noticed her week old boyfriend was sitting on his car, his back was facing Bella and his head was facing the girls hostel staring at the windows.

Her heart fluttered with the idea of scaring him from the back with a 'booo!'. Bella tiptoed toward his car and waited there preparing herself. She wanted to sound scarier, and so she held in a deep breath within her lungs before shouting out loudly.

Nevertheless, prior than her mouth unclasped, and she could let her out a howling shout, Bella realized that her guy was busy on a phone call. "What is taking you so long, topper? Honestly my butt has started paining whilst sitting. Please have some mercy on me and come down!"

Bella hid behind his car, she attempted to look at where her new boyfriend was looking at. She slightly tilted her head making sure that she does not fall and, 'WHAT THE FUCK!' she wretchedly widened her eyes.

He was signalling to Amara who was peeping out of her window and talking to him. Luckily, she was behind the car and could not be seen by that bitch from over head or else, it would have been a problem.

Bella sat quietly listening to Alex's words, "Yeah, that's not fair Amara. I made all the arrangements in emergency. Do you have any idea how much did I struggle to get the tickets of the fair! You don't." He was arguing with her on some topic.

May be she was not ready to come! Bella sarcastically rolled her eyes. What else can he expect from a nerdo like her! She will die among the pile of books only. The topper was heck boring after all.

"Amara the fair happens once within five years. So come on, get your ass moving and come down. Who knows whether we'd be alive while it comes in the next five year!" Intense anger filled Bella's nerves.

Wasn't his girlfriend available to join him at the fair that he was asking another girl for it!

The main thing was, he didn't want her to accompany him actually. He rather wanted that bitch.

"I swear I will get in there and bring you down if you don't come done within five minutes. I swear Amara I will do that. I surely will." Alex swore before cut the call and chuckled. "Now she will come. But in three minutes only. " Bella saw him nodding his head from the corner of her eyes.

She quickly crawled away from his car and hid behind another vehicle parked at the roadside. Her sight was clear, and she could see Alex's car clearly.

As expected by him, she indeed arrived within three minutes. Bella grunted seeing how he winked at her and said something to the watchman before he made Amara sit in the car. And just before her eyes, they drove away.

Flashback ends...

And as for now she was returning back home, drunk and insulted. Bella rubbed her tears away with a deep breath. "Wasn't it a game, for the sake of studies? Then what made him do all that." She pouted to herself.

It was so frustrating for Bella that she cannot stand that insult. Can't he just ask her out for the fair? Or is that he had something else in head. "Alex Ragnar, you didn't do good with me. You really didn't!" Bella stomped her foot and just changed her route henceforth landing in a club.

The first rays of the sun prostrated Bella's swollen face. She turned on her back inhaling the fresh air of the morning. Her hands have just started stretching when the memories of the last night hit her back. "Gross" she uttered sitting straight on the bed.

Her eyes travelled to the circular watch on the wall in the front as she stepped out of the quilts. Her clothes lied on the bed crumpled while a used condom beside them. She let out a sigh feeling sick.

Her exasperation was too much that she ended up sleeping with Ella's boy. He lived in the same apartment as hers. When she came late in the night Ben, Ella's boyfriend was returning from somewhere, and they met in the elevator.

They talked before the lift stopped on her floor and that was when she pulled him for a kiss. And they eventually walked out of the elevator and ended up in her bedroom. "Time to go!" Bella made a bun of her hair before entering the wash room.

Her dizzy yet furious face demonstrated her annoyance from the last night. It was oblivious that the afternoon was going to be a heck.

If here Bella was burning in the agony of dejection than on the contrary.....

"Come Amara when are you going to understand that? Girl he is not a good impression on you. Just look at you... You returned in the morning at 4.00." Chloe chanted as soon as she saw Amara stretching her body in the morning.

Last night, Amara left the room before she came from her party. While she had entered the room, Chloe got a note stuck on the mirror that stated,

'Dear Chloe,

Alex and I are visiting the Moonlight Fair. He insisted too much and I could not refuse. Don't worry, I have put your IPad on charge and everything is in the place. I shall be back soon. Have a good sleep.'

She was left shocked and concerned. That guy took her room mate out in the late night.

He was not someone who can be trusted but here this stupid girl was not ready to see the truth. "Ugh, Chloe... I told you I am alert. In fact Alex is not a bad guy. He just wanted to take me that fair." Chloe rolled her eyes on Amara's soft reply.

She looked tired though. Amara was not a person who supposedly stayed up late in the night. She followed a strict schedule. And according to that, she would usually go to bed by 10.00 pm. only. Regardless, yesterday she ignored her schedule carelessly.

"Do you know that that fair occurs just once in five years. It's only for two nights and one day. And last night was indeed the last night of the fair." Amara said siding her blanket. "Alex was insisting me ever since it started but I won't go with him. So last night he just took me out any ways." Amara said further as she joined Chloe on her bed.

The two girls sat together in their night dresses. Their hairs were messy, yet they looked beautiful, especially Amara. She looked extra ordinarily beautiful without those thick specs. "I know you don't like when I go out with him but trust me this is purely friendship. He is not doing anything that will harm me. After enjoying in the fair, he safely dropped me here. He is nice. And

You should be happy that last night was our last meet though"

"What, what do you mean Amara?" Amara suddenly fell silent. Her eyes looked nowhere in the air that Chloe cannot help but ask her the reason.

Her eyes that were gleaming with excitement all of a sudden tore up with fresh tears. "Hey, what happened? Are you okay." No sooner did Chloe enquire than Amara hugged her tightly.

"I am not okay Chloe." Amara trembled in her arms.

Her loud sobs adamantly told that something had had happened the other night which was now bothering Amara. "Tell me what happened?" Chloe questioned, this time a little more roughly that Amara stuck her eyes together remembering the unfortunate incident again.

Flashback...

After Alex parked his car in the parking area among the other vehicles, they stepped out happily. "Will we get cotton candies here?" Amara asked Alex while they sprinted further.

Their eyes welcomed the lovely sight of big rides. The exciting screams of the people sitting in them filled Amara's heart with curiosity. This was her first time visiting such an amazing fair in her entire life.
