Rather than taking Amara to the library Alex took her out on a drive. "How long?" she asked sitting timidly in the seat. Against her agreement he just made her sit and started the car. She was not used to going on drives usually. Just a few with her family otherwise her experience was zero in this regard.

It was in fact a matter to think on as to how can Alex suddenly take her out. He never did that! It was because he never felt guilty like that. Yep Alex was guilty. The conversation he had with Chloe few days back as well as the announcement that he made in the club few nights ago on Martin's insistence was bothering him.

He never intended on saying such a thing against her. "Just wait Miss. Rebello, why so hurry? When I say it's just near.. Means it's near." he smiled not diverting his eyes from the road.

The speed was quite increased as they were on main road and, setting his eyes off the road would lead them to harmful consequences. Any ways, he continued driving while poor and nervous Amara chewed her cheek not knowing how to act.

It was her first drive— with a guy. And having that guy to be Alex was creating a whole of a problem for her. "Or don't you trust me Amara!" She instantly nodded soon after he finished his exclamation. Amara would do anything but stop trusting him.

He was the first person she met in the college. And if life would allow then she would let him be the last person to pass out with, after the college is done. Forget that, Alex ruffled her hair, she was cute. "We are here." he applied the brakes and got of the car.

It was just astounding! Amara rubbed her eyes looking at the surrounding. She can't believe her eyes nor can she set off her gaze from the lovely natural scenario across her. They were in an open land with farms in the front. Not any normal farms but if variety of flowers.

"Hey, daffodils! I like them." she jumped pointing at a piece of land that has the flowers of daffodils ranging from orange colour to dark pink.

It was the loveliest day so far. "You like daffodils." Alex asked taking a spot beside her.

Grinning amusingly, "Yes. Since childhood. Dad would get me daffodils every day in the morning before going to the school." she answered.

No doubts she seemed to be a pampered daughter. That daughter who was weaned with love and care. So much care that her parents forgot to teach her about the negative world perhaps. Because Amara did not know the difference between the good or bad. She helped all even though people just approached her for their own advantage.

"Hmm I like lavender. They are amazing."

"Really! That's my second favourite flower."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah. Actually I like all the flowers. They are so fragile and tender. And their smell... It can spell anyone."

It was a shocking scene as Alex was getting to see her talking so much for the first time. That joy on her face, that eagerness rising in her eyes and obviously that confident posture of her, was impressing him very much. "But you know what when George sneaks into my room, he crushes all the flowers. He is a headache." He smiled.

"Uh, your boyfriend?" There was a change of expression.

He slightly looked away. The mention of a guy was a new thing. However, all Alex did was pretend to smile. She was a good company after all. Surely, her boyfriend has to be the luckiest. He would never have trust issues with her.

"No! George is my younger brother. Didn't I tell you I don't have a boyfriend previously!" she narrowed her lashes along with hitting his on the arm slightly.

Oh yeah, how can Alex forget that. He let out a small 'Ohh' whilst matching his gaze with the grassy land under his feet smiling continuously. How can he not remember that! She made it clear to him that she does not want to date anyone right now. She just wants to focus on her studies. But then he also remembers that she mentioned, 'But if I get a good guy then I will never let him go.' And that was the first time he realized she was not that boring though.

Any ways, Alex changed the topic. He was not interested in knowing much about her family or her personal. The aim in front of him was clear. They were supposed to stay for a little more time until exams. After that he had all decided to make it clear to her, apologize, present her a token 0f thanks for helping him and simply walk out of her life.

And to be honest and share a secret, Alex brought her here for the same reason. He was aware she had no friends and that made him know that she might never have enjoyed her life like a human. No doubts though. So to boost her confidence and give her a little happiness he determined to spend a few days by hanging out with her in his favourite places.

In fact, spending time with each other was so nice that they can't even keep a check of time and it was twilight giving its occurrence. "I just realized we wasted an entire day here, Alex. We could have covered some concept Maths portion." He rolled his eyes seeing her sigh.

She was indeed boring. Like who on earth regrets spending time for some fun! Amara does. "Uff Amara. You know what..." They were sitting on the green grass enjoying the lovely sunset.

The yellow reddish light of the setting moon kissed their skin. It was a lovely moment which was unfortunately ruined her. "Who talks about exams on such a fun trip! Didn't you enjoy here." she nodded in yes. "So... That is all which matters. You know, it's important to go out and do something other than studying. Don't you get bored sitting in that small hostel room of yours." He frustratingly stated.

But when Amara confessed, he can't help but look down with a sigh. "It's not like that. I also want to go out. In fact, when I see other hanging out on weekends I just feel like I want to join them. But nobody wants to go out with me. They think I am boring." She pouted.

"You are not boring Amara. It is just that you are different from us. But if you'd stay like this... Confident and lively in front of others then I am sure they won't hesitate going out with you." He said as a matter of fact.

They fell quiet. Locking their eyes with the setting sun they lost themselves in their thought. Amara never felt so joyous and enjoyed a day like this. No doubts why every girl wanted to go out with him on a drive! Although the drives with other girls were completely opposite of what Alex had now with Amara.

It was not filled with sex in the car nor packed with a single kiss though he anyway relished it. The best drive of his life with the boring girl of the college. "Alex it's late we should go." He was zoned until her voice pulled him out of his reverie.

Alex smiled and offered her hand, not before getting up with small jump. "Thanks." He closed the door for her and sat in his seat.

The ride back to college was silent and unexpectedly much faster than before. "Eh Amara" she was going inside her hostel building when he called her.

"What?" Confusingly walking towards him Amara waited for him to resume speaking.

"I think we did enough studies. We should now spend some time hanging out together. What's say!" he winked holding her hand out of the blue.

Although if was normal for him but when Amara experienced him running his thumb up and down on the back of her palm, she lowered her eyes. "I would love to but... Exams." Expected as the reply was, it received a growl from Alex.

He twitched his nose glaring her playfully. "Come on, do you think I am a fool!" she nodded in no innocently. It was a sarcasm though. "You are a topper, dude. Everyone knows you're going to top. So stop worrying about it and prepare for a good adventure that's." winking again with a smirk Alex plastered a quick kiss on her cheek quite nearer to her lips and immediately sat in his car driving away. "Good night topper, see you tomorrow in the morning." He waved from the window driving away.

While there Amara shockingly held her kisses cheek with a small shy smile. That was her first kiss.
