Falling in Love Was Not the Plan — Chapter 22

Howling and jumping crazily Bella kicked her legs in the air. She was tied to a chair with a thick rope from the waist and wrists. Her eyes shot daggers to the guys who were standing before her. "I swear Daniel, I will kill you. Just let me free" She bragged hoarsely being trapped in their Plan B.

That was a lie, to be clear. These guys lied to her about Alex and the surprise. It was all their plan so that they can prevent her from telling Amara the truth. Rather the back of the college, she was dragged to the parking lot and taken to her apartment and tied up in one of her chairs.

"Why hurry baby doll... Just give more days and then you will be set free." Charlie came forward with a plate of food. "Come on now open your mouth" He placed a spoon of rice across her lips.

Even though she was crazy as heck on them, poor Bella was so hungry that she immediately eat the food from Charlie's hands. "I swear on my mom, I will kill you three. Just let me get free of this ropes one. You will have to leave me the next week any way!" Bella announced making the three guys gulp their saliva after she ate another spoon full of rice.

In the late night,

Chloe was asleep. She never bothered about exams since her father was one of the trustees of the college. Even when she gets low marks, she gets a promoting and is passed with grace scores.

While her snores were echoing in the pin drop silence, in their room, Amara stood at the window of her room with three books in her lap. One was her text book, second a fair book and the third was the one containing all the notes she made for all the subjects.

She cannot concentrate. The answer was quite self explanatory though. Alex was bother her.

She spent her one month on him. She did everything she could do so that he can pass these exams however, Amara was scared for him as that guy always spent time doing time pass.

Only in the day of the light, he would study only when she would drag him to the library. He rather spent his nights in the clubs drinking and enjoying with friends.

In Fact, she was worried about him since his personal life was a chaos. In the morning he told her about his and Perry's break up. She was told that Perry was not ready to let him go. She was playing with his emotions but still she wasn't freeing Alex of their relationship.

On the other hand, there was Bella annoying him. Amara cannot believe that Bella was there to tell her to stay away from Alex as they were dating.

Yeah, that was right. After learning regarding Perry's betrayal, Alex drank and drank that night and ended proposing Bella under the effect of alcohol.

And later in the morning when tried clearing the confusion, Bella just did not give him a chance. She wanted him badly and now that he has himself proposed her, there was no way she can let him go.

"I never knew he was going through so much! That's good I never dated a guy or else I would be sailing in his boat" Amara talked to herself.

From the last sixty minutes she was only thinking about Alex and Alex. His thoughts were not letting her study. "Ugh Amara, stop thinking about him and study. Focus... Just focus, alright" Hitting her head with the three books, Amara went to her bed to study.

Early in the morning, her eyes opened feeling the hot rays of the sun brushing her skin to irritation. She had left the windows open in the night.

With a lazy yawn she got up and pulled the curtains on the windows as her rough and tough room mate was in the bed. It was 5.45 am in the morning. She had promised Alex to meet him in the old library.

Quickly wrapping up with her morning chores Amara ran out of the room locking the door behind her slowly. Actually the students were given one week's holidays for the sake of study for exams.

And as per her information, all the girls have been studying in the night. So not wanting to disturb anyone she tiptoed until the exit and quickly scurried out with a long leap.

Excitement has taken the best of her. She can't wait to meet Alex. The cool captain has become an integral part of her life in just a month.

"Morning!" squealing in pleasure Amara sat on the seat next to a dizzy Alex.

His eyes were red and hair messed up. Just from the look of his face she can say, he did not sleep the whole night!

Rather than being sad for him Amara smiled looking amused. Alex pouted since he understood why was her lips smiling. "Stop that Amara" he pushed her head away awkwardly.

Alex really studied the entire night! That was unbelievable. It brought a big smile on Amara's face. From what she had known about Alex Ragnar, he never sacrificed his sleep for anyone apart from Sex.

And learning about his sleepless night, Amara can only smile i bewilderment. "I am impressed Mr. Ragnar! You really kept your promise." Amara ruffled his hair in proud.

So what has happened— the other day after she was partially told about Bella and that 'something' she was going to talk about, Alex promised Amara he would study all night honestly as they were not doing the revision together but alone.

Although Amara had laughed on his promise while he made it but now, she can only admire his red eyes and flushed face. He looked like that exhausted woman who has gone through five rounds of ecstatic make out sessions and still smiled for her partner.

Funny but true.

Alex rubbed his eyes while he stretched his back. Sitting in a seat for twelve hours without food and water was difficult. And seeing someone like Alex who may have never experienced this previously, Amara smiled.

"Here, take this." Alex narrowed his gazed watching how his topper friend passed him a parcel.

That smelled tasty. When his fingers touched the package, the warmth of it gave him the clear idea that it was food. So she brought him food from the canteen.

And when unwrapped it, his lips curved into the biggest smile Amara could have seen him giving her. "So sweet of you Amara." Alex pasted a kiss on her cheek as a thank you.

That left her shocked. Amara grasped and blinked her eyelids registering that kiss again as her fingers touched that area. She stared him for a while until he bit his first bite from the three layer hamburger she bought him. "Wow, sooo freaking tasty. It's finger lickin'good!" she chuckled hearing utter the slogan of the famous fast food company.

Nevertheless, she can't resist those lips covered with mayonnaise. He had stained his lips with the sauces so badly that she only felt kissing them. Amara curled her fingers watching him put the last piece of the burger in his mouth.

"Oh Amara, you're a saviour. I really love you for this burger. Trust me, the rats in my stomach were bothering me too much." He licked his fingers and drank water from her Tupperware.

Once he was done, Alex fixed gaze in the mid air thinking something about something before he naughtily stated, "You know what Amara! You should never kill your desires." Her eyes brows scrunched looking puzzled. Alex craned his neck thus bringing their faces face to face and said. "When you want to kiss somebody, just kiss them! Don't stare their lips like that"

Her blood drained out hearing that sentence. Amara only wanted to flee off from under his gaze. She was clueless as to how to react to his words regardless, before she can take any step she felt her waist being encircled by his leg arm while he pushed his chair backwards and pulled her on his lap.

Before she can understand what was going on, he kissed her lips!

Butterflies, baby butterflies, their cousins, uncles and aunts.... All of them fluttered in Amara's stomach while she sat shocked in his lap being kissed by his lips.

She can't believe herself!

She was really being kissed by him. That was not a dream though because Alex pinched her waist with such force that made her open her mouth at the effect.

He got his needed opportunity and inserted his tongue in her mouth. She tasted of mint, probably her tooth paste was mint.

He cupped her butt as his other hand pulled her down on his chest. He savoured her lips so delicately like he never kissed such sweet lips previously.

Indeed, he never kissed such lips. And the lack of response from her end, gave him the clue that it was her first. So he got more excited and put all his efforts and worshipped her like nothing.

On the other hand, Amara sat intact not moving at all. She never kissed a guy before an so, she was uneducated about the steps that has to be followed while kissing. She loved the touch of his lips. They were soft and slow however her lack of experience was becoming a problem.

She so wanted to revert back. This guy was a master in kissing, his skills were amazing. Always when she witnessed him lock lips with any girl in the public she wondered how would be getting kissed by him. But now when it was finally happening, she can't to anything!

That was until Alex guided her. Their eyes were opened when Amara felt him guiding her free hands to the back of his head and the other one around his neck. With a smal blink of his eyes he pulled her much much more close and let her make the further move.

He smiled between the kiss ultimately realizing that she had started reverting back to his actions hesitantly yet with full dedication.

Albeit, will they be able to face each after it will all be over as according to Alex it was just a game for about a month?
