He halted on the door looking at the scene before him. There was nothing he could say as his son was actually crying because her uncle Girard has held him within his arms not letting him go to his mamma. She was on the bed looking extremely sick with red eyes and yellowish pale skin. There was a bottle of glucose hanging on the bedside while the pipe kept attached to the back of her wrist. Who would tell his stubborn son what was up with her.

He cried kicked and bit Girard on the shoulder agitated by his action of preventing him from his mamma.

But when little Billy caught the sigh of his startled father at the door step, "Pappa... Pappa" he faked a cry pushing Girard away from himself and got down of the bed carefully.

Just as his little body pushed itself down the bed's edge like a mountaineer trying to descend to the earth, Raven let his tears flow. "Pappa.... Mamma..." he was though two years old he still can't talk properly. The sickness affected his two years of life that he cannot learn how to speak since he was all this while on the bed lifeless.

However, today when Raven found his little champ pouting and throwing himself in his arms feeling offended, he cried and used his arms to accuse his uncle. "Gia... Pappa, Gia" He pointed at his serenely smiling uncle who was satisfyingly staring the father and the son's reunion after a long time. But this time this reunion was forever.

Girard never spoke a word. He gave a assuring glance to Kiara who grew nervous looking at her husband after the court scene with stupored eyes. She hated seeing Girard leave the two of them alone with their son. She Panicked when he took his parents with him.

They were completely alone.

Minutes passed but Raven could not leave Billy while he continued whining and talking to his with his broken language. He was relieved seeing his baby back. Raven then rose with Billy in his arms. He still avoided setting his gaze on her face.

Kiara was waiting for his one look, she impatiently waited to see him giving her a view. That was the only way she can get to know whether he still loved her or not. However, when she saw him placing Billy beside her on the pillow and turning around, her eyes widened with new tears.

He had not considered her important enough to even give a glance. So was that how they were supposed to end up! Without talking to each and without clearing the distance between them.

No, seemed Kiara was not ready as she had wrapped her fingers around his wrist and stopped him. "Please..." she whispered. She wanted to tell so many things, so many sorries nevertheless she felt weak. "Don't leave... T-talk to me." Ultimately gathering some bravery she stated her feeling verbally.

Her tears steamed out not ceasing at all. She was scared. She was scared that he might shove away her hand and walk out thus leaving her mourning over her mistake. At least that was what she deserved.

But to her surprise, he waited. He sat on the edge of the bed with Billy laying on the bed with Kiara's phone like a wall therefore, creating a safe distance from each other.

He did not speak. Rather Raven waited for her to say something. He was clear on his part, but she wasn't. She had a lot to explain to him and his heart impatiently waited hoping to listen whether she was still his. Was she still his innocent Kiara.

Those days spent with Payton in his house was eating Raven. He burned in the fire of envy feeling cheated. Was she still pure and his Kiara only!

She had sensed him waiting for her explanation, so with a few quick breaths Kiara began, "I am sorry. I never intended to hurt Billy. It was for hurting you. I thought it will give you the idea how much I cried when you left me. But little did I know that— it will leave me hurt! After I went to Serbia with Payton.. I... I realized I... I committed the biggest mistake of my life... I... I just broke my house with my fists." He only forced a smile since he knew the former part. There was nothing new disclosed so Raven once again moved to leave.

But just like the last time Kiara once again held her wrist ab made him sit down, "I saw you and Billy separating after the verdict was given in Shania's name. I thought I would give me joy but it only left me crying and shouting in the nights. I was... I was trying to get tempted by Payton's romantic moves. He was trying harder to woo me..." Raven growled hearing the last sentence. It only hurt him more than before.

She was getting onto the part which he wasn't looking forward to hearing. Does she think that it will melt him! No, if was only burning his heart. But Kiara has to say.. He will have to listen to whatever happened in her life within these months.

"I will not refuse I was impressed by his efforts. Every day, he did something new for me but all I can do was smile and turn him down. I swear every time he did something new my heart only reminded me of you. I can't get over the love you gave me. I know you think I am changed... I really am... But trust me, I never stopped loving you. I was... I was possessed by anger." Kiara whispered, her lips trembled feeling his burning gaze on her face.

Her dread grew more when Billy went down of the bed to play with toys in the corner of the room. She was somewhere happy though as there was no obstacle between her and him.

"I was crazy and wanted to seek a revenge on you but Raven... Keep yourself in my place and think... Think that if after dumping you in college I had met you just for the sake of my son who was from the man you hated, how had you felt? You would have killed both me and my son out of your fury. I just wished to do the same but I couldn't. (pause) Right after a day of running away from your house— our house, I regretted everything I did. I swear I do regret yet." She was not yet done with her words when Raven clutched the back of her neck pulling their faces closer.

Their breaths mingled with their eyes gazing each other. His eyes were intensely ripping through her soul while her soft and scared ones watched the blood vessels that were visible in his eyes. He gritted his teeth while Kiara grasped as their lips almost brushed.

"You were angry right, you could have killed me. I hadn't minded getting murdered either. You could have ripped my chest and pulled my heart then chopping it into pieces. If that was not hard then you could have simply burned me alive Kiara... Why Billy? Why Billy though!" Suddenly his grip around the back of her heck loosened.

Raven's head fell on her shoulder as his arm slowly pulled her into him. "You shattered me totally, that night. I don't think I'd have ever cried like that in my whole life. Not even when I lost my daughter." There was hurt, immense hurt dripping from every word Raven spoke. "I am not angry on you... I can never be Kiara. And clearly your doubts, even after doing so much wrong I never stopped loving you. You want to know why? Because you brought my son back to life. That was you why I can see my son smiling... That was you why he smiled... That was You, why he recovered. You can still punish me if you want but, leaving my son to die was the stupidest revenge you played to hurt me." He stopped, letting her go with a grunt Raven hit his fist on the mattress. He was sobbing now.

"I am sorry... Please forgive me." She whispered sobbing as well.

Nevertheless, his words spoken next, perplexed her to no extent. "how can I forget you Kiara when I know you spent months in another man's house."

"Raven! You are doubting me" She can say it loudly at all even though he was doubting her loyalty.

"How can I not believe that nothing happened between the two of you ever?" he sarcastically stated, hurting her.

"Alright, go ahead, undress me and see if I cheated on you or not" She was confident alas, he only took it in the wrong way.

"Sorry, I don't do bitches... At least that's what you are for me now." Kiara stilled in the bed, her eyes never leaving the sight of his face. "He is a fool, Kiara Diaz... Not me! Not me." Raven hushed near her lips before he walked out of the room leaving Kiara shocked and surprised.

This was the second time she saw him jealous like that! Still, she forced her lips to smile and adored Billy playing with teddy. The first time it had happened in the college when a guy took her on the dance floor to dance during their second year's party. Her only mistake was that she let him hush something near her ear.

He was so angry... So fucking angry that he left the party at once. When she went to look for him and thankfully found him sitting in the garden grumbling to himself, she approached him. But he was so angered that he almost killed her by kissing her roughly in the college's garden being jealous and also called her a bitch.

"So the reason behind your cold behaviour is jealousy not the anger. I should have known that." Kiara smiled as something struck her mind determining that—

Within twenty four hours from now, she would make him her once again!
