They scurried out of the room with a lump in their throat. Payton tried to compose his calmed face as he moved ahead holding Kiara's wrist. She was too shocked to move on her own. Her eyes effortlessly stated somewhere in the mid air without batting her lashes whereas her slow dreading unusual breaths made it clear that the encounter had a hard impact on her.

Payton walked fast from right to left until he came to the passage leading to the main vestibule area of the hotel. He was too lost in the thought of getting themselves out that he totally lost his focus and ended bumping into someone's back ahead.

"Uhh I am extremely sorry, I did no—" His utterance further died in his mouth when his astonished faze shot a glance at the face of the person. "Girard!" on hearing the name Kiara looked in the opposite direction amidst her moist eyes only to lock eyes with an equally muddled Girard whose expressions showed how badly it hit him seeing her here all of a sudden after that unfortunate day!

His breaths hitched eventually bringing back the memories that must have been experienced during that phase a while back where she disappeared gradually turning the course of so many lives negatively. "Kiara!" His lips bore a sarcastic grin as his pupils blurred due to the accumulation of tears in his shocked eyes.

There was no need of exchanging words. Their eyes spoke everything that was meant to be talked on verbally. In fact, it was not even needed, if you ask Girard. What she did was her decision and how they managed to live after her leave was their decision. It was difficult to live as the little kid for whom she was married for had to suffered irrevocably.

Any ways, it would now be useless to raise that topic. So looking away swiftly with a deep breath of agony, "Excuse me" he walked away not even sparing a last glance to her as she had expected him to do so hence increasing her deceit.

The ride back to his abode was deadly and lifeless. None of the two spoke even a word after they exited Shania's unsuccessful meet. On top of that, it gave them a shock to get traumatized uselessly. Billy's face kept flashing in front of their eyes while the way he had cried pulling out the length of his tiny hands to go into Kiara's embrace haunted their imagination powers.

It was heart crumpling. Alas, now it felt like they committed a great mistake. If not for Raven then at least this should not have done that to Billy! That poor kid, unnecessarily got into this revenge game and happened to be the only suspect suffering more than anyone else. "I do not want to say this as it was an advantage to me Kiara, but I feel like— we committed our life's biggest mistake. I regret for giving you such stupid idea for revenge. I am sorry to say but I destroyed your happy family." As he applied the brakes outside the bungalow, Payton asserted leaving connivance adamant on her face.

Although she agreed on that still she exited the car not even waiting for him eventually striding inside the bungalow silently. While she entered in ignoring the guard who saluted her, Payton came out too resting his one arm on the roof of the car and staring her as her figure disappeared inside the doors. "I feel guilty! I don't know what are your feelings. I wish I could have met Billy before!" he talked to himself.

But on a serious note, is there a chance to mend things back again! May be, Yes.

Kiara's point of view...

Midnight and the entire Siberia was lost in its dreamland dreaming, unfortunately I sat on the bench in the garden outside the luxurious bungalow of my admirer lost in my thoughts.

The whole day left a hard impact on my life. I met two most important people of my life who were a part of my healthy happy contended family someday. Alas, the way I happened to meet them was damn traumatizing. I could have never known that life will play such a trick on me!

Because it was supposed to be a happy ending of unfortunate life that I lived after Raven's leave but when he entered back with the proposal of marriage I thought I will be able to seek my revenge. Albeit, it all came back on me.

I was supposed to be happy after leaving him, leaving Billy, leaving behind everything that Carters offered me regretfully I never lived a moment of happiness after leaving them. Seemed like I not only did betray them but myself also. The way Billy cried today seeing me after almost three months of gap, believe me it ripped my heart.

His cries are still echoing in my ears. His stretched out arms and the eagerness that he showed to come to me abused motherhood. How could you be so heartless Kiara! How could you! It has been three long fucking months, you did forget him, forget them (Raven and his family) however he still remembered you.

In fact, he remembered you like his mother only. That mother who left him out of nowhere just to seek her revenge on his father. "You should not have been feeling this if you had not taken that step Kiara!" I held my chest listening to a familiar voice playing in my ears.

"Girard." When I turned to my right I found him sitting next to me, all dressed in white with perfectly combed hairs and neutral expressions on his face.

As soon as he shot his face up to see me, I read his eyes only to sense that they were seemingly so positive irrespective of what I saw today in the hotel. "Mmm hmm you got me right, Kiara. I can though understand your feelings. I can understand, It was not easy to take that step for you love Billy and Raven as much as they love you. However, your emotion of revenge was too strong that it overpowered your love toward them hence forcing you to take such step." My head lowered. The more he said the heavier my heart became.
