Falling For You — Chapter 41

Lydia's POV

It was friday now. 4 days before i was about to get away from here. My heart breaks every time i see Blake smile or tell me that he loves me.

I wonder what would he feel when i make it seem like i am cheating on him. My heart felt like it was being squeezed by someone. I sighed as one lone tear fell down my cheeks.

I had been getting texts from Davis eversince that event at charity ball. When i had got out of the bathroom, thankfully Blake hadn't noticed that i had been crying.

The past week had been the worst for me. I sighed as i washed my face and headed out of the washroom. I went and laid on my bed.

There was a ball being held this tuesday for our farewell. I had been beyond excited for it but now, i just don't want to go.

My phone buzzed signalling me that i had received a message. My heart beat sped up when i found out it was from Blake.

Blake: Good morning princess.

Me: Morning Blakey.

Blake: What are you doing?

Me: Just laying. I am so bored!

Me: What about you?

Blake: Just woke up. Gonna go and shower. I'll text you in 15 minutes.

Me: Sure! Love you.

Blake: Love you too baby.

I smiled at his sweet nicknames. When i talk to him, i forget about all the problems in my life. I can't imagine living without him. I don't know what will i do without him or any of my friends or family.

How will i make new friends? Where will i live?

Oh god, help me please.

I decided to go downstairs and spend some time with my family. I don't know when will i get to even see them next. I went downstairs to find my mom and Julia on the couch, ordering something.

"Lydia, honey. Come here. We were just ordering some new furniture for our bedroom." My mom said. I smiled at her and went to her. We spent hours looking for the perfect coffee table for her room and a chair.

We then spoke about everything and laughed so much. This was quality time for me. Nothing can beat the love i have for my family, not even Blake.

I stood up and walked to the kitchen with my mom to make breakfast. Apparently, we had forgotten that we still had to eat breakfast.

I decided to make cheese omlette that Blake had taught me to make. I connected my phone to the speakers installed in the kitchen. I put on my favorite song and started dancing to it, forgetting about every thing that is wrong in my life.

After i was done with unsuccessfully cracking the eggs, i added a pinch of salt, a pinch of pepper, a little chili powder, a little oregano and then beat them perfectly.

I made the omlette for three of us and then we departed our ways. I decided to stay in the living room while Julia went to her room.

I decided to text Blake and ask him to come over.

Me: Blake...can you come over?

He replied in less than a minute and i smiled as i read his text.

Blake: Yes baby. Why not? I'll be there in 15 minutes.

Me: Okayyy.

To ruin the moment i received a text from Davis at the same moment.

Davis: Tomorrow at 4 in the afternoon i want you at the park. You will ask Blake to be at the park by 4:30. If you try to act smart or pull a wrong stunt, everyone dies.

Me: Ok.

My heart broke a little more at the thought that all of this was going to happen in the next 48 hours.

Tears welled up in my eyes and i looked up at the ceiling to prevent them from falling. I took deep breaths to calm myself down and no tears fell from my eyes.

My head started spinning as thoughts filled my head. I stood up and walked to the kitchen as my hands started shaking. This feeling was worse than anything else.

I drank a cool glass of water and then headed to my room. I took out my electronic vape and took a puff. All the stress suddenly went away.

I was now sitting with an empty mind, vape in my hand and a hole in my heart. My heart couldn't feel emotions anymore. I felt empty. No depression, no thoughts, no feelings. I stared blankly at the wall infront of me.

I was in a situation where i wanted to talk to someone. Anyone. I wanted to make things better for me. But, i couldn't. I knew that i had so many people that i could talk to. But, i can't talk about this.

I took another long puff and decided to listen to some songs to calm myself a little as Blake was coming soon. I laid on the bed and scrolled through my social media to pass the time.

Soon my bedroom door opened and Blake came in. He smiled at me as soon as he saw me. I smiled back at him even though my heart started hurting again as i thought about what was going to happen tomorrow.

He walked over to me and i pulled him into a long kiss. I didn't want to leave him. I'd miss him so much. His face, his smile, his addicting lips. Everything.

His lips moved against mine perfectly. My hands found their way to his chest and stopped right at his heart. His heartbeat was fast.

I smiled against his lips and then i finally pulled away. He leaned his forehead against mine.

"I love you so much." I whispered.

"I love you even more, princess."

Our emotions at the moment were raw. We wore our hearts at our sleeves.

I had heard somewhere that hating someone is an easy thing. But to love, it takes a strong person. And when you fall in love, you're bound to be hurt.

We stayed like that for some moments, staring into eachothers eyes, until Blake leaned in and pecked my lips before pulling away and laying down next to me.

He took the vape from my hand and took a puff. "So, what are your plans for tomorrow?" I asked him as i scooted a little closer to him and laid my head on his chest.

"Nothing. I'll probably be at home majority of the time. What about you?" He asked as he started to rub my back lovingly.

"I have something planned in my head."

"What is it?" He asked and i closed my eyes shut.

"Can you meet me at the nearby park at 4:30?"
