Chapter 31

Read online · About 5 minutes

Lydia's POV

I could literally feel Blake's eyes the whole time while I ate my breakfast. Alessa had done a great job in making me look hot as fuck.

When he left to arrange cars for us, I released a long breath. He looked so hot wearing the white t-shirt and black jeans.

He knows I love him in it.

He had tried so many times to speak to me but I was successful in ignoring him until now.

When I finished my breakfast, we all stood up and headed to the parking lot. The cars were lined up already.

Our luggage had been already taken care of.

Blake stood near the Corolla, looking hot as ever. He looked in a deep thought. It was almost if he was planning something.

"Three of you have to go in the SUV while one has to come with Lydia and me. You all have 5 minutes to decide who wants to come with us." Blake announced.

My insides boiled with anger.

Who the fuck does he think he is to decide what I will do and what I won't do?

"Me, Alessa and River will go in the SUV." I announced, wearing my sun glasses. Blake's head snapped to me. He opened his mouth to protest but didn't say anything when Julia gave him a look.

"It's okay Lydia. What ever you're comfortable with." Julia said with a calm smile.

What are these both up to?

I nodded slowly and then headed to the SUV. Me and Alessa got into the backseat while River sat in the front seat along with the driver on the driver's seat.

"I guess Julia and Blake are upto something." I declared when the driver started the car and we pulled out of the driveway.

"Yeah. I sense something fishy too." Alessa said as she took out her sun glasses from her purse and wiped their lenses.

"She's in Blake's team. It's now Me, you and Alessa against Julia, Nate and Blake." River said. Alessa shook her head in disapproval.

"It's not Lydia against Blake. It's both of them against the problem. I know they will sort out the matter soon." Alessa said. "No. It's me and the problem against Blake because he doesn't want to tell me shit nor does he want to solve the problem." I said, letting out a huff and crossing my arms on my chest.

"You both will get along soon Lydia. And whatever the thing is, you know Blake will tell you everything soon. You need to have patience." Alessa said, giving me a small smile

I smiled back but we both knew it wasn't real. Every second, knowing that me and Blake are fighting, is a torture. I just to go to him and gave him a tight hug and then kiss the hell out of him.

This is the power of love. It makes you do stupid things and the worst part is that as much as it makes you happy, it also hurts you.

Ugh.

When we reached to the airport, we got out of the car. The Corolla was behind us the whole time. We all gathered near the entrance of the airport.

"The luggage has been taken care of already. The private jet will arrive shortly. Until then we can head inside." Blake announced. I could literally feel his eyes on me the whole time.

I looked up and I could see the longing in his eyes.

I understand what he feels .

I just want him to tell me everything. Whatever this is won't be successful if he doesn't tell me shit. I want to know the reason why he doesn't want to date me.

Alessa tugged my hand, bringing me out of my thoughts. We started heading towards the entrance and Blake followed behind us with Julia and Nate.

*******

Blake's POV

Mine and Julia's plan was coming together now. I told her about what my thoughts were. She had given a few of her own ideas and everything was now at last decided.

I bit my lip as i thought about our plan. What if she doesn't like it?

Shut the fuck up, Blake.

Julia had said that I take slow steps in taking her back. "Now." She said. I nodded and went over to the Starbucks in the airport. I ordered her favorite Caramel Java Chip frappuccino. I took a cold coffee for myself and then I was good to go.

I found her standing with the group in a corner. I checked the time and it was almost the time to go. I took a deep breath, obviously nervous. I walked over to them. "I brought you this." I told her after I was standing next to her.

She looked at me through her sun glasses. She nodded, not showing any emotions but took the frappe anyways .

"Thanks." She said and I gave her a smile. She removed her glasses and told Alessa to hold them. I saw how her eyes lit up when she saw her favorite drink in her hand. I smiled and turned my head away from her before she could see me staring.

"It's almost time. Let's go." I announced after taking a sip of my coffee.

******

When the jet arrived, we climbed in. I knew what I had to do now. Julia had managed to get Alessa and River to know about our plan so that they could support us.

Lydia chose to sit on a single seat next to the window. Infront of the seat was another seat seat with a small table in between them.

Thank God she chose that seat. I went and sat on the seat infront of her's while she buckled up the seat belt.

I looked like I was doing it casually but inside only I knew how nervous I was.

When I sat infront of her, her eyes snapped up to mine. I removed my sun glasses and held her gaze into she bit her lip and looked away.

The plane started moving and then we took off. Thankfully none of us were afraid of heights or anything so we we're good to go.

I didn't know what to do now. Lydia was doing a great job in ignoring me. I sipped on my drink to calm myself down.

I looked at Lydia who had headphones on now and was looking outside the window while she sipped on her own drink.

I looked at her plump lips as she took the straw in her mouth.

Not the fucking time, Blake!

I screamed at myself and averted my gaze away from her face. If I look at her I'd become more and more nervous.

This is going to be a long ass flight.
