Falling For You — Chapter 34

Lydia's POV

I was currently curled on the bed. It was around midnight and my cramps were worded than ever.

Ugh.

Blake was on his side of bed since I had decided that it would be better if we don't cuddle because we weren't technically in a relationship and I was kind of still mad at him.

I bit my lip and contemplated whether or not should I move a little closer to him.

My ego said 'no' and my heart said 'yes'.

Always listen to what your heart wants.

I recalled the quote and took the advantage. I moved a little closer to Blake, throwing the pillows on the couch. Almost as if on reflex, he turned towards me and circled his arms around my waist and pulled me in his chest.

I breathed into his scent, feeling better instantly. I looked at his face which looked so beautiful under moonlight.

I feel very bad for not speaking to him. I love him so much. I don't want to not speak to him but I also need to realise that he is the one at fault. I cannot just go around being with a guy who isn't my boyfriend.

I sighed and cupped his face. I raised my head a little and kissed his forehead before snuggling into his chest and wrapping my hand around his waist.

After some minutes, without even realising, I fell into a deep slumber.

I woke up the next morning with Blake not beside me. Although, I could hear the shower running which means that he is bathing.

I sat up and found food covered and kept on the table. I got up, drank a glass of water and stretched a little. I decided to use the other washroom to per as this one is already occupied.

I peed and brushed my teeth with the new disposable toothbrush and went out of the washroom.

As I got out and went to the room, I saw Blake already ready. "Good morning." He greeted me. I greeted him back and then went to the bathroom with my outfit of the day.

I took a relaxing shower and went out the bedroom after wearing my clothes.

I went and sat next to Blake on the couch Infront of table where our breakfast was kept. He hadn't started with the breakfast so we ate it together.

I noticed that for some unknown reason he looked a little nervous.

"Are you okay?" I asked him as I sipped on my coffee. He nodded but I knew that he was lying.

"Don't lie." I said. He looked at me and into my eyes. "We should talk." He said to which I slowly nodded.

"I am sorry, Lydia. I know I am a fucking prick and a douche all the time and I am sorry about that. I want to take you out to make it up to you. I am really very sorry, princess. Please come with me." He pleaded and I couldn't help but nod my head.

"Okay." I said and hit face lit up... literally. He smiled so brightly at me that I felt butterflies in my stomach and my heart beat fastened.

"Is this a date?" I asked him after a moment or two while he continued to eat his breakfast, looking happier than ever.

So fucking cute.

"Yes. We'll leave at 3 and try to maybe wear something comfortable." He said to which I breathed out in relief. I've read in some books where the guy won't tell the girl the dress code and she would freak out later.

After we were done with breakfast, he excused himself to go and do some 'business'. I wonder what this business is though.

I checked the time to see it was 10:56 right now. I decided to go and tell the girls about this.

I went over to Alessa's room and texted Julia to come there. I entered to see that River wasn't there.

"OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD! Blake asked me out on a date!" I screamed excitedly to which Alessa squealed and Julia said 'finally' and I somehow had a feeling that she was helping him to plan this.

"When is the date?!" Alessa asked me to which I said '3 in the afternoon'. When I said that, both the girls sighed in relief because 'they had a lot of time to select clothes and do my make-up'.

I rolled my eyes at them and told them to come to my room with me to select the outfit.

"He told me towear something comfortable." I told them as I went towards my suitcase. I opened he suitcase and we started to search for my outfit of the day.

After about half an hour later, we selected two outfits. One was a peach coloured dress while other was a pink coloured top which I decided to pair which faded blue jeans.

"Which one?" I asked them as I laid the outfits on the bed.

"Go with jeans and top. I know where he is taking you so that one would be the best." Julia said to which I nodded.

"I am so fucking excited yet so fucking nervous." I said honestly to which they both rolled their eyes and shook their head.

"There is nothing to be worried about, Lyd. It would be amazing." Alessa comforted to which I nodded at her.

"Okay now. You said that you had washed your hair today which is great. I can do makeup first then Jules can do your hair." Alessa said to which me and Julia nodded.

I sat on the chair as she opened my bag full of makeup.

"I am going to go with light makeup today. We'll leave the lipstick to be dark." Alessa said to which I simply nodded.

After about an hour we were done with my make-up and then Julia decided to leave my hair in a sleek ponytail.

The end result was of course amazing. I looked good. The make up, as Alessa said, was light but the lipstick was pink. The link also wasn't that dark but it looked amazing.

Julia, as usual, made my hair look amazing.

I love both of them.

"For shoes, I thought that this wedges would look amazing with the outfit." She said, handing me my pink wedges. Surprisingly, the pink colour matched my lipstick.

I looked super cute today.

"Blake will meet you at the place itself. Nate texted me and said that he and River will do the job of dropping you off at the location." Julia announced as she looked into her phone and texted back to whoever she was chatting with.

"Okay. So, here's your sling bag. Go and have fun now." Alessa said as she handed me my sling bag which she had filled with my necessities.

"I am nervous." I announced.

"Don't be. Blake will love how you look." Julia said to which I gave her a small smile. I then headed to the elevator.
