Falling For You — Chapter 13

Lydia's POV

I had been successfully avoiding Blake for the rest of the day. It had really really hurt me to watch him like that. With another girl.

I have never been so jealous.

He is stupid. All boys are stupid. Why do they even act like they are are showing interest in someone when they don't like them.

It's actually me who is stupid.

The bell rang, finally signalling that it was the time of dispersal. I quickly rushed towards my car, deciding not to wait for either of the girls.

However, I was stopped by someone.

"Lydia!" I heard Sam calling me. I stopped and turned around. "Sam, hey!" I said with a smile. "Do you have your Mathematics notes?" He asked me.

I nodded at him. "Yup, do you need them?" I asked him. He scratched the back of his neck and nodded. "Yeah, i kind of missed my two or three lectures. Can you give them to me? I promise to return them to you tomorrow."

"Yeah sure." I said. I took it out of my bag and gave it to him. We soon said our goodbyes and parted our ways. That's when I noticed Blake, standing in the corner and looking at my direction.

I shook my head and got in my car and left. I texted Julia on the way to tell her that I had already left.

When I got my phone, I checked my messages to see an invitation for a party from a guy from my class.

How did he even get my number?

I shook my head and made an excuse to not attend the party. I sighed and started doing my homework but I was disturbed when there was a knock on the door.

"Come in." I replied and continued to write. "Julia if it's you, I am busy right now. Don't hesitate to show yourself out." I warned and didn't bother to look who it was.

I heard a deep chuckle and I knew who it was.

Blake.

"What do you want?" I bitterly asked, standing and turning towards him. "I want to know why are you being a bitch to me?" He asked me.

"I am not being a bitch to you." I said and he scoffed. "Tell me Lydia. Are you jealous of her?" He tsked as he walked near me.

"No. Why would I be jealous of one of your whores?" I asked him, showing him little attitude. "My whores?" He asked and laughed humourlessly.

"I don't know whats bugging you so much. You can admit that you are jealous." He and casually leaned against the door of my wardrobe.

He is being a dick right now.

"I am not jealous alright? Now please show yourself out. Don't you have a party to attend? I am sure all those bitches would be waiting for you." I spat. He just smirked at me.

"Yeah. You should come too. Your new boytoy would also be present there. I can see I did a mistake to come and apologize. I yelled at that bitch to leave me alone but she threw herself at me. It wasn't what it seemed like. I brought it for you by the way." He said and threw a bar of chocolate on the bed and went out.

Okay. Now I feel guilty but still angry.

My new boytoy?

He must be talking about Sam. He is the one who seems jealous here. I huffed and took the chocolate from my bed and started eating it.

While eating, i decided to take a break and go through my instagram. There, i saw Sam had followed me. I smiled a little and followed him back.

Not in less than a second, he texted me.

Sam: Hey!

Me: Heyyy.

Sam: Watcha doin'?

Me: homework. FML

Sam: same lol. I am completing my notes.

Me: Best of luck with that.

Sam: thanks. And by the way, I was wondering if you want to go out with me tomorrow and just...chill?

Me: is it a date?

Sam: if you want it to be.

I bit my lip. Should I say yes?

Me: I will think about it and tell you later. I gotta go now. Bye^_^

Sam: Bye:-)

I sighed. Should i go?

I mean yes i guess i should because I know that Blake is just playing around . And I know that he will never ever get serious with me.

I sighed and texted him a 'yes' and resumed back to my homework. After my homework I decided to finally have my dinner.

I was surprised to find Julia and Alessa. "Hey guys" I greeted everyone with a tired smile. "Hey." They replied. I got seated and we started having our dinner.

"So... Sam. Do you know that guy?" I asked them.

"Yeah. They new guy right? He is kind of cute." Julia side.

"So, he asked me for a date." I told them. I looked down at my plate. I could feel them glaring at me. I bit my lip in anticipation. I knew that was coming.

"What the fuck was your answer?" Alessa asked me in a warning tone. "Yes." I said.

"Wow. So, first you go after rmy brother and then you go for that newbie? You don't even know him Lydia!" Alessa said. "Yes Lydia! Why the heck would you say yes?" Julia screamed.

"Because, let's be honest, do you think Blake would change his ways for me? I mean, he has been like this for YEARS! Why would he change, that too, all of a sudden for me? Think from my point of view too!" I yelled at them, now looking at them.

Their shoulders sagged. "Yeah, well... You are right too." Julia said, looking down at her plate. I looked at Alessa and she nodded at too.

"I am sorry, but, I think Blake could change his ways too. Give him a chance at least." Alessa said.

"Yeah. I will think about it after this date." I said with a sigh.
