Falling For You — Chapter 39

Lydia's POV

When we reached the Opera House, I gasped at how beautiful it was. We got out of the car and headed inside it.

The show was soon started and I love every second of it. It was around 11:35 when we were in the parking lot of the hotel. "I'm going to take Lydia out for a ride." Blake announced out of no where.

Okay....

"Sure man, here's the keys." River said. They did the bro hug thingy and then Blake took me to a two seater car which I am sure we hadn't rented earlier.

"Where are we going?" I asked him. He shrugged. "I don't really know. I just wanted to go on a ride with you." He said. I knew he said it in an innocent way but my gutter mind picked up the double meaning and I blushed.

Blake, of course, noticed and gave me a cheeky smile and wiggled his eyebrows suggestively as he opened the passenger door for me.

"I knew my girl had a dirty mind." He said and I knew I was a red tomato by now. I slapped his arm anyway and slid. He laughed and closed the door.

He got in too and then started the car. The car was of course a convertible, so we decided to keep the roof down.

I connected my phone to the aux and put of Lord Huron's 'The Night We Met' because I had heard a part of it in 13 Reasons Why and I fell in love with it instantly.

Blake pulled up into a street and then we went to a highway. I was literally enjoying it. I loved the way how the wind blew past us.

In 20 minutes we pulled up to a cliff. "Wow." I breathed out as I took in my beautiful surroundings. "I know." He said. I got out of the car after Blake parked the car. Blake followed behind slowly.

Blake took out a mat from the car and laid it out. I sat on the mat and then Blake went to the car again. He took out a bag of KFC and I almost squealed out loud because I was hungry as fuck.

He grinned at me and then came and sat to me. We both were sitting Indian style.

"I love you so much." I told him as I took out the chicken and took a bite of it. "I know baby. I love you too." He said and I managed to give him a smile even with my mouth full with food.

After a while, his alarm rang. "Look up." He said and fire works started. I stood up and walked a little closer to the edge and gasped. Blake's footsteps followed behind me and then he wrapped his arms around me, his front pressing to my back.

He leaned down a little and kissed my neck. "Happy birthday, baby." He said. I turned around and pulled him into a kiss.

"I love you." I said after we pulled away. "I think you've told me that a few times before." He said and grinned at me.

This seriously is the best night ever.

I will never get tired of the feeling of being spooned by Blake. "Good morning." He greeted me as he kissed my neck. "Good morning." I greeted him back.

"You're so beautiful." He said and then kissed my jaw. "You pamper me too much." I said with a small laugh. "You're my princess. That's why I pamper you." He said and pecked my lips twice.

After a while I got out of the bed, much to Blake's disappointment, and I had a long relaxing shower.

I decided to wear a cute pink crop top with my blue jeans today. I put on a little make up because it was my birthday and then headed to Julia's room.

After a few knocks, Nate opened the door. He looked like he had just woken up. When we saw me, he smiled and hugged me. He then wished me a 'happy birthday' and finally let me in.

I ran to Julia -who was asleep-and screamed, "Happy birthday Bitch!"

"Ugh. Lydia! Get off me." She groaned. I got off of her with a small laugh. After a few minutes of nagging, she finally got up. She gave a hug and wished me back and then I decided to go to Blake again.

When I entered the room, Blake was showered and dressed but in casual clothes. I went to him and he pulled me into a slow, tantalising kiss.

His mouth moulded perfectly against mine. My body fit his. I loved this man so much. I loved him with all my heart.

I pulled away after a while to catch my breath and leaned my forehead against his. "I love you so much." He said and I smiled at him. My blue eyes staring into his hazel ones.

"I love you too Blake. So much."

He crashed his lips against mine again. We shared a sweet kiss until we had to pull apart again when my stomach growled due to hunger.

"Looks like someone's hungry." Blake teased, his eyes twinkling in amusement. "Shut up!" I said, turning red. He laughed a little, kissed my forehead and stepped a little away from me.

"I'll order breakfast, you go and rest or maybe watch a movie?" He said/asked to which I nodded.

I decided to watch 'Pretty Women' because who doesn't like that move?

When i was about 15 minutes in, Blake came to the room with breakfast. He placed it on the bed and then came and got into the bed with me.

He carefully pulled me on his lap and I kept my laptop on the lap. We started eating the breakfast as I leaned into his warmth.

This probably the best feeling ever. I feel blessed for everything in my life.
