Falling For You — Chapter 32

Blake's POV

Lydia was asleep now. She looked like an angel as she slept. It was a 15 hour long flight and everyone was almost asleep for the majority of the flight.

We were finally about to reach and i had made sure that the car we wanted was there to pick us up. I woke everyone up and it was really hard because Nate and Alessa are heavy sleepers.

I walked to Lydia to wake her up. I cupped her cheek and softly called her name to wake her up. I had removed her headphones and put them into her purse when she fell asleep.

She leaned into my touch and moved a little to get more comfortable. I smiled at her softly and then took my hands away and brushed my fingers through her hair.

"Lydia, baby, we are going to land soon. Wake up." I softly said and opened her eyes slowly. She smiled at me a little and i moved back a little as she stretched. "Did we land already?" She asked me and i shook my head 'no'. She looked like an angel right now.

"We are about to land in fifteen minutes." I said . I knew that she had forgotten that she was ignoring me and i knew that when her mind gets cleared of sleep, we will go back to square one.

She nodded and got up to quickly get fresh. By the time i told one of the attendants to bring me and Lydia some fresh juice. The attendant placed are our drinks and scurried away.

I looked to see Julia was still trying to wake Nate up who had fell asleep again while River held Alessa close to him. I shook my head, got up and woke both of them up again.

I feel like their dad sometimes. All of them are a bunch of idiots.

Lydia got out of the bathroom as i went and took a seat and buckled up. I knew Lydia was back in her senses because she was avoiding my eyes again.

"I have ordered the juice incase you were feeling thirsty." I said and nodded at the juice which was in my hand. Her beautiful eyes looked at me as i extended the juice to her. She said a small 'thank you' and took the juice.

We sat in silence as we landed. When we had finally landed, we got off the plane and headed to the cars waiting for us. It was again an BMW SUV and a 4 seater. I let Lydia go with Alessa and River in the SUV while me, Nate and Julia sat in the BMW M6 convertible.

I greeted the driver and we started heading to the hotel. "So, when do you plan on proposing?" Julia asked as she sipped on her Ice tea.

"Two days later. I can't keep the distance anymore. It takes my everything to not get on my knees and beg for her forgiveness." I said and ran a hand through my hair.

I heard Nate snort. "You are whipped, man." He said and let out a laugh.

Asshole.

"Be in my shoes and you'll know how it feels." I said while i turned and gave him a glare. She shot me a smirk. "You just worry a lot, bro. Just give her a little time, she'll come around." Nate said.

"I'll have to apologize, Nate. I made a mistake and she deserves an apology." I said to which Nate hummed. "I know, Blake but don't stress a lot about it. She is in love with you. I know that she will forgive you once you tell her everything." Julia said to which i nodded.

"Nate, learn something from your girlfriend. She is a lot smarter than you." I told Nate and laughed when he simply threw an arm around Julia and leaned back on the seat.

"I don't need to be smart when my women is smart as fuck." He said and yelped when Julia smacked her head. "That doesn't mean that you should use your brain in small things. All you do is eat and sleep." She said as she gave him a glare.

"I also exercise." He said and Julia rolled her eyes at him while i watched both of them, highly amused. "Yeah and in 24 hours, there is not a single hour in which you sit and properly study." She said to which he simply grinned at her causing Julia to get even more mad at him.

Both of them continued bickering while i zoned out of their conversation until we reached the hotel.

The hotel was obviously luxurious and big. Lydia, Alessa and River must've already arrived because their SUV was already parked.

We three got out of the car and headed into the hotel. Lydia, Alessa and River were seated in the seating area of the lobby.

I headed to the reception and spoke to the receptionist about our luggage that had been already kept in the assigned room. After a while, he handed us our car keys and our room keys.

We all headed to the lift and got in.

"I am so tired." Nate said and groaned. "How the fuck can you be tired when all you did was to sleep during the whole flight?" I asked him and raised an eyebrow at him.

"You are our dad. You are supposed to take care of us." Nate said to which the rest of them chuckled. I looked at Lydia who was smiling and looked highly amused by our situation.

"Atleast i do something rather than sleeping 24/7 like you and Alessa." I said and grinned at Alessa who gave me a hard glare. "Don't start with me Blake. I will kick your ass." She threatened and i rolled my eyes at her.

The lift dinged indicating we were on out floor. "This is Nate and Julia's keys. This one is for River and Alessa and this one is mine and Lydia's." I said, handing everyone their keys.

Before going River told me that he wanted to speak to me to which i nodded and told him to meet me in 15 minutes.

He looked mad at me for some reason but i didn't know why. I guess i will have to get ready to receive some punches from him.

I took Lydia and we both headed inside our room. Our luggage was already placed there. Lydia excused herself to go and shower while i embraced myself for some punches.
