Chapter 36
Read online · About 5 minutesLydia's POV
I woke up with Blake's arms around my waist, holding me close to him. I turned to face him to see he was already up and was checking something in his mobile.
When he felt me move, he turned his eyes to me and smiled at me. He leaned down and pecked my lips.
"Good morning, princess." He greeted, his smile still stuck on his face.
Best morning ever!
I moved a little and sat up. "Morning." I greeted him back and then started walking towards the bathroom. I did my business, brushed my teeth and headed back outside.
"So what are we doing today?" I asked him as I stretched a little and headed to pick out outfit of the day.
"I think we're going to go the an amusement park today." He said and stood up. "I'll go and take a shower. You order our breakfast." He said to which I nodded at him.
He came to me and pecked my lips before heading to take out his outfit of the day. He went to the bathroom with his clothes and I sat on the couch, staring out of the window as I decided what to have for breakfast.
Atlast, I decided to go with eggs and bacons. By the time Blake came out, our breakfast had arrived. We both ate our breakfast before I went and took a quick shower.
I wore my outfit and decided to tie my hair into a ponytail.
Me and Blake met others in Julia's room.
"So, where can we go today?" I asked as I leaned into Blake and he wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him.
"There's two options. Either we could go to a beach, an amusement park or a national park." River said as he went through his phone.
"I am in the mood for amusement park." Alessa said and I agreed with her. Julia was okay with anything. River and Nate just shrugged so we decided to go to the amusement park.
An hour later we were all dressed up and were waiting in the lobby for Julia and Nate. This time, me and Blake were going with Julia and Nate while River and Alessa had opted for another car.
Turns out that the park was an hour away from us. So, we made a stop to get snacks a frappuccino for me and Alessa.
The whole way, I did nothing but to pig out and sleep.
When we reached to the park, Blake woke me up ever so sweetly. We all got out of the car. When I looked at the entrance, I almost gasped at how beautiful it was.
Blake took my hand and we headed inside. We waited a little for all the tickets and stuff and then finally entered the park.
The first thing I noticed were the gigantic roller coasters. Me, Alessa and Julia made sure to not miss a single one. After about 2 hours of fun, we decided to have some ice cream before he head to the haunted house.
I opted for the cookies and cream ice cream while Blake opted for chocolate and mint ice cream.
After we were done with our ice creams, I faced my biggest fear.
Haunted house.
We were warned that it was a huge one and I started hesitating. "Come on baby, I'll be with you." Blake said as he tugged my hand lightly.
"No." I said to which he frowned. "Come on Lydia! Don't be a chicken." River said and literally dragged me inside while I kept on hitting his arm.
When we entered the pitch darkness, he left my arm and said a 'goodbye' and I panicked. Darkness and ghosts are my greatest fears.
Yeah and you choose horror movies over romantics.
Shut up conscience!
Some people might think that I am a chicken, but if you come in my place, you'd understand my fears. My hands started shaking and I put my hands on my pocket to take out my phone.
I almost cursed out loud when I remembered I had kept my phone in Alessa's purse.
I screamed loudly when I felt arms wrap around my waist. "Oh my god. OH MY GOD. LEAVE ME ALONE!" I screamed and struggled to get out of the creature's hold.
"Shush, relax baby. It's just me." I heard Blake's voice and literally melted in his arms as relief washed over me.
I turned around and quickly hugged him tightly. "Oh my god. I was so scared. I thought you were the ghost thingy person." I said and kissed his face.
He chuckled slightly. "Ghost thingy person?" He asked, amusement lacing his voice. "The people who dress up as ghosts." I said to which he laughed a little.
"Come on now, let's go." He said and unwrapped his arms from around me. He moved a little back and I latched myself to his arms holding it tightly.
"Let's go baby. Calm down." He said. I nodded and we started walking to the exit whose way we didn't know yet. As we walked along, we had to stop sometimes because I'd be scared to go further and Blake would have to calm me down again.
When we exited the house, I matched over to River who in turn started running away from me.
"You asshole, I am going to kill you!" I screamed and ran behind him. Of course, he got away.
I walked back over to Blake and others who were doubling with laughter. "I'll see that asshole later. Let's go." I said.
We then went to the others rides. We had left the Ferris wheel for the last. We wanted to go on it during the night time.
When it was finally dark, we went to the Ferris wheel. Only 2 people could sit at a time. It was amazing though I did had the fear of falling at the start.
Me and Blake also took a couple of pictures for our Instagram. Over all the day went amazing.
Right now, we are back in the car, deciding where are we going to have our dinner.
"Let's eat KFC pleaseeee!" Julia said, dragging the 'e'. "Yeah. I am in mood of KFC too." River said, through the speaker.
Yes, we were speaking to Alessa and River through speaker. "Okay then." Blake said. The driver started taking us to the KFC nearby and Blake hung up on Alessa and River.
After we had had our dinner, we headed back to the hotel. I decided to walk for at least 10 minutes before we headed back to our room.
"I don't understand you baby, you always opt for horror movies but you were so scared in the haunted house." Blake said, amused.
"There's a big difference between movies and reality." I told him and he nodded.
"It was fucking comical though." He said and suddenly started laughing. I rolled my eyes at him but I couldn't help but smile at him.
He looked so cute when he laughed.
