Cold Showers — Chapter 76

"Wow." Aaron smiled as he admired the package his new toys came with.

"Do you like them?" Jayda asked. He nodded.

Aaron placed his toys on the floor, then hugged Jayda. "Thank you."

"You are welcome, sweet" She smiled after which Aaron picked up his toys and ran to the living room to play with them.

"Thank you." Sebastian smiled proudly as he wrapped his arms around Jayda.

"For?" She asked with an eyebrow raised.

"For getting along with Aaron." He placed a kiss on her lips. "He has been asking for you since I picked him up."

She smiled, "He's a sweet kid, I love him."

Sebastian smiled, "He loves you too."

"How was work? I hope this little one was good to you today?" Seb asked as he led Jayda to the couch where they both took their seats.

"Work was fine. He or she has been good in there too. I still have morning sickness but it's not as bad as it used to be."

Seb nodded.

"Are you ready to have dinner?" He asked.

"You guys haven't had dinner yet?" Jayda asked, surprised.

"Aaron said we should wait for you," Sebastian explained. "He wants us to have dinner together."

"Aaron love." She called the little boy who was settled on the carpet, playing with his new toys.

Aaron rose to his feet and approached Jayda who instantly placed him on her lap.

"Daddy said you haven't had dinner."

"Yes, I told Daddy to let us wait for you."

"That's so sweet of you, my love." She kissed his cheek.

While Sebastian warmed up dinner, Jayda settled on the dining table with Aaron by her side. She engaged him in some lively conversations until the food was ready.

Sebastian served his family, they held hands and said a short prayer after which they dug in.

Jayda offered to feed Aaron while she ate her food too.

When they were done with dinner, Sebastian cleared the table and arranged the dishes in the dishwasher while Jayda took Aaron's bath for him and helped him change into his Pyjamas.

The trio cuddled on the sofa in the home theatre with some popcorn, watching Aaron's cartoon. He was in between Jayda and Sebastian.

Halfway through, Seb noticed Aaron had dozed off.

He picked his son up and took him to the guest room. It was already arranged for him.

Seb gently placed Aaron on the bed and covered him with the duvet.

"He looks so much like you. He has your nose, eyes, smile, and your personality. He's so adorable." Jayda said as she watched the little guy sleep.

Sebastian chuckled and wrapped his arms around Jayda's waist. She was standing by the bed.

"I know. I really hope I can make it up to him and also be a good role model to him and his baby brother or sister."

"You're amazing, you'll do just fine," Jayda assured, placing a kiss on Seb's lips.

The duo kissed Aaron's forehead before exiting the guest room.

When preparing the guest room for Aaron's arrival, Seb made sure he set up a camera that was connected to his IPad so he could monitor Aaron while the little guy slept.

"So what have you planned for us for the weekend," Jayda asked as they made their way to Seb's room.

"A lot of fun activities. We will be going out tomorrow and on our way back, we will stop at Caleb's place for dinner.
