Chapter Thirty
Read online · About 10 minutesIt’s been weeks. I haven’t received anything from “unknown,” which proved both Katy and Mary were done messing with me. The only surprising thing that happened was that Katy stopped coming to school. I wasn’t sure if she dropped out or if she switched schools, but I couldn’t bring myself to care anymore. The only thing I knew for sure was that her plan to become a VS model didn’t exactly work out as planned. Her career didn’t even get a chance to begin before it fell.
But other than all that, my life has been going great. The paparazzi calmed down after I did an interview and were back to normal, which meant only half of my yard was covered. Plus, they weren’t following me to school.
As for Andrew and me, things were going surprisingly perfect. Last week, we went on another date and he gave me a necklace, one I haven’t taken off, that had a clover on it. The best part? That same night we spent at some fancy restaurant, he also ended up asking me to prom. So far, everything was looking up for me. I could almost thank Mary and Katy. Almost.
“Another three kids? Damn, someone's been busy,” Tori said, winking at Jasmin who only rolled her eyes.
We were currently playing the game of Life, and before anyone has those dirty thoughts, I was playing the actual board game called Life. Surprisingly, we were having a great time. I never thought I’d spend a day playing a board game with Andrew and his little gang of friends, Jake, Jack, Zach, and Michael, but this shows to never judge a book by its cover. Guys with some interesting type of substance in their system were a little more open to new things. The other three, Chris, Tori, and Jasmin, weren’t really surprising, but I had to say, they’re extremely into this game. I kinda loved it. I never expected our lunch group to work out so well outside of school, but we were actually having a fun time, even with the whole being outnumbered by boys. Times like this, I wished Katy was here, yet here I was still hurt by the situation.
I was snapped out of my thoughts as a pillow hit me in the face. "Um, Ow, what the hell was that for?"
"Please, you know that didn’t even hurt. Now, go, It's your turn," Michael said, smirking. Another fun fact, Andrew’s best friend got released from jail, which was absolutely amazing. Please, note my sarcasm. I have come to strongly dislike Michael. All the other guys are cool, but he just annoys the hell out of me.
I rolled the dice and had to move four spaces.
"Spin for a baby, Clover," Michael said, wiggling his eyebrows.
"Andrew, let’s see how many kids you’re gonna have," Tori said, rubbing her hands together.
"Wow, Clover and Andrew have been busy, too! I mean five kids? That’s more than Jas. You just couldn't help yourself, Clover, now could you." Michael smirked, causing him to earn a whack on the arm from Jasmin.
"Thanks, Jas," I said.
"No problem, you sometimes have to put idiots like him in their place," Jasmin said, rolling her eyes.
"Yes, look, Clover, put Andrew in his place. I mean look at him. He is a big softy now," Michael said, causing everyone to earn a glare from Andrew as we all burst out laughing.
"Don't worry, soft or not, you’re still hot," I said, pecking him on the lips.
"Well, since I'm a big softy, I guess no one gets the drinks I bought. What a shame. I got the good stuff, too," Andrew said with a fake sigh while shaking his head.
"Forget this. Let’s just play Never Have I Ever," Zach suggested and we all agreed.
"Why didn't we play this in the first place?" Tori asked as we put the shot glasses in front of us. I guess if this got out, it couldn’t really make anything much worse.
"I have no idea," Jake chuckled.
"I do. You all wanted to play that girly shit first," Jack said with a shudder.
"Oh, shut up! You know you liked the game! But you want to get dirty, fine, last one to get drunk wins," Jasmin said to Jack. Just for future reference, Jake and Jack are twins. It was hard to tell the difference if you didn’t look closely, but the color of their eyes and the sound of their voices gave everything away.
"I have a feeling Clover is going to be out first." Michael smirked.
"The only reason I got drunk so quickly before was because it was my first time drinking," I said, glaring at Michael.
"Yeah, you sure are a crazy drunk. I mean, when you’re drunk, can we have a hot make out session, too?" Michael asked, earning himself a punch on the arm from Andrew.
"That's my girlfriend you’re talking about,” Andrew said, throwing him another glare.
He held up his hands in defense.
"Okay, Andrew. Start the circle, you’re first," Jasmin said, interrupting their argument.
"Okay, never have I ever been a model," Andrew said, causing me and Tori to roll our eyes. We quickly finished the shot glass that was filled with vodka. It burned my throat a little at first, but I knew it would be fine after another shot.
It was my turn next so I said, "Never have I ever dated a girl."
All the guys took a shot.
"Seems we have a challenger," Michael smirked.
"Seems we do," I smirked back.
"Okay, my turn. Never have I ever kissed someone in the past twenty-four hours," Tori said, causing Michael, Chris, Andrew, Zach and I to drink our shots.
Andrew smirked as he gave me another quick peck on the lips.
"Okay, save it for the bedroom. Never have I ever been to New York," Jack said, causing Tori, Chris, Jasmin, Andrew and I to take our shots.
"Are you guys purposely trying to get me drunk?" I asked. That was my third shot in less than five minutes.
"Are you drunk yet?" Michael asked.
I smiled, showing my teeth. “Nope."
"Then obviously our plan isn't working too well," Michael said.
"Okay, ignore him. Never have I ever went skinny dipping," Zach said, causing everyone to take their shot except me.
“Okay, I expect to hear those stories later.”
"Jasmin, you went skinny dipping?" Chris asked, looking at her disappointedly.
"Yeah." Jasmin shrugged and I cringed. She was gonna hear about it for weeks from him.
"Never have I ever played football on our high school team," Michael said, causing Chris and Andrew to take a shot.
"Never have I ever dated two girls at once," Jack said and Michael and Andrew took a shot.
"See, Clover, your boyfriend is cheating on you," Michael said, causing him to be hit with a pillow.
"I already know his past with girls," I said, rolling my eyes.
"Okay, Chris, it's your turn," Tori said.
"Never have I ever been in jail for longer than twenty-four hours," Chris said, causing all the guys to take a shot.
"What's the longest time you've been in jail?" I asked them.
"All of freshman year," Andrew said and my eyes widened. So, it wasn’t a rumor then?
"Thirteen months," Michael said.
"Four weeks," Zach said.
"Six months," Jack answered.
"Two and a half months," Jake said.
"Why have they all been in jail for months or years and you have only went to jail for four weeks?" I asked Zach.
"I never get caught." He smirked charmingly.
"What exactly do you never get caught doing?" Tori asked.
"Now that, you girls don't need to know," Jack said and we continued our game.
"Never have I ever been on TV," Andrew said, causing Tori and I to take our shots. By now, I was on my way to getting drunk.
"Never have I ever made out with someone in a closet," I said, slurring slightly.
"Looks like our little Lucky is getting drunk," Michael said, grinning.
"No, I'm fine, now take your shots!" I said, throwing my hands up excitedly. Everyone took a shot and that's what we played till twelve in the morning.

I lost. I was the first one out. Surprisingly, Chris and Jasmin ended up tying and being the last ones standing.
"Hey, Clo, there isn't any paparazzi outside,” Tori said, closing the curtain. “You know what I'm thinking?"
"Party!" we all yelled and whipped out all our phones, sending messages to as many people as possible. Trust me, right now the alcohol is talking,
About an hour later, more than half of the school was in my house. The girls and I ended up changing. I was wearing a pair of black skinny jeans and a black strapless shirt, which was finished off with a leather jacket and black heels. My hair was curled perfectly. Tori chose a skin-tight black dress, and Jasmin was wearing a pair of black leather leggings and a red tube top.
"Shot! Shot! Shot! Shot! Shot! Shot!" a group of guys yelled as they were standing around the pool table. I looked over to see Michael and Andrew trying to see who could down a shot faster. I rolled my eyes. Boys.
"Clover!" Stacey said, walking over to me.
"Yes, Stacey?" I asked, taking a sip of my water. So far, I have been drinking nothing but water so I can sober up.
"We should totally like hang out soon," Stacey said.
"Stacey, just because I let the world know I’m Lucky doesn't mean we are going to be best friends," I said, rolling my eyes.
"Whatever. Don’t forget who took you under her wing," she said before going to flirt with a group of guys.
Apparently, it wasn't a good idea to start drinking water. I found out Michael thought it was a good idea to add straight vodka in the water bottles. If I wasn't completely drunk before, I definitely was now.

The next morning, I woke up with a pounding headache. When I opened my eyes, I winced as the bright sun shined in through the window. I slowly got up to see two little tablets and a glass of water and a note from Andrew saying to come down when I'm ready. I took the two tablets and went straight to the bathroom to take a shower.
When I got out, I grabbed a pair of white sweatpants and I slipped on a black tank top before I finally headed downstairs.
"The walking dead has arrived!" Michael exclaimed as I walked in.
"I am never drinking again. My head feels like a thousand bricks are in it," I groaned, sitting on the stool.
"Sarah stopped by earlier," Tori said, causing me to gasp. Although Sarah and I were closer, I’d rather her not start thinking the worst about me.
"Oh, gosh, the house must have been a mess. Does she know about the party?" I asked, panicked.
"Yeah, she knows, that's why she sent a cleaning company in this morning," Tori said with a smile.
"I seriously love Sarah. Best manager a girl can have," I said as a plate of food was set in front of me.
"Thanks," I said to Andrew.
"Jasmin made it before her and Chris left. They said something about having to go visit someone." Andrew shrugged.
"Oh, remind me to thank her later. Now, why are you still here?" I asked Michael.
"Awe, Clover, I'm hurt you don't want me here," Michael said, putting his hand on his heart. I only raised an eyebrow not fazed. He rolled his eyes in response.
"Jeez, you ruin all the fun. I'm leaving soon anyway. I'm meeting up with a few people," he said, not bothering to look up as he texted on his phone.
"So, Tori, I think today should be a lazy day and we should start planning our road trip," I suggested and she nodded.
"Wait, you guys are planning a road trip? And I didn't hear about this?" Andrew asked.
"Yup," Tori said, grabbing my now empty plate.
"Well, when are we leaving?" Michael asked.
"You are not coming with us," I said, snorting
“We’ll see about that.” Michael winked.
It only took two hours of arguing for us to plan the perfect road map and for Andrew to convince me to let a certain friend come. I looked down at the map with sticky notes on it and smiled. We were definitely going to do this.
