The Brother — Chapter 27

Luna's POV

"So cute..." I raised an eyebrow when I heard Joseph’s voice before giggling, his eyes focused on Jack's phone. And then he'd lift up his glance looking at my direction, then Devon, then back to my direction on a continuous stupid cycle.

My head shake in annoyance. Not to mention how the younger ones kept on bugging me earlier asking who I find attractive among them which I can feel they were doing just to annoy me even more.

But how do I really answer that question?

I bit my lower lip when I hear Joseph's laughter resonating the whole room. Not only him, but even Jiro and Jack kept on giggling like some little kid who were watching their favorite cartoon.

Noah was keeping a straight face on but I knew better. Judging by his expression, he's only trying to hold it in and any moment, he's going to crack.

And then there's Joshua who's pretending to read something on his phone but my eyes were sharp enough to see how he would sneakily give me a glance when he thinks I wasn't looking, and then giggle. He's fucking giggling.

The only person who was acting pretty much normal is Sylver, at least from how he usually is, who is laughing and messing around with Joshua, whom like always, doesn't even spare any of them a glance.

It's Sunday and it’s my off. Natalie has a shift though and Yessa was busy doing some errands for her family. So I have nothing left to do but stay with the boys. I’m used to it and was having fun though especially since I was having a good time spending my free time with Sarah too.

Not that I care that much because I can rest all I want as long as I do my daily job at the convenience store. Considering I am new and I don't have deadlines yet I can pretty much bum out. The boys though, I feel like something is still going on but I can’t really meddle that much.

Witch. How can you not care when they have been nothing but good to you? I scolded myself at the thoughts clouding my mind.

And yeah, these past few days, I am starting to adjust with their weird yet adorable antics. I may not be used to them at first but they were, how do I explain it?

Normal?

Of course they are but they were idols. A lot of fans adore them, worship them. But they are human too. And seeing them and being with them up close like this makes me realize that they were definitely the same as an ordinary person.

The only difference is that they have these God-like looks and prefect features, voices like some angels and that their body moves in a motion one can't help but drool over. And did I mention that they were fun to be with? Dorks? Adorable? Yeah, I said that.

So yeah, they are pretty much, normal.

Too normal it's starting to scare me how I am no longer uncomfortable staying in the living room with them even though they seemed to be laughing about something that involves me and the way I see it, Devon too.

And it's starting to annoy me. But before I can even utter a word, the sound of Devon’s growling scared the shit out of my wits.

I bite my lower lip at the memory of me lying down on the couch with him beside me. The past few days, we’ve been nothing but sweet towards each other but I’m not really sure if we’re really going to end up together.

Privileged, that's what I felt. It's overwhelming to be honest, him being beside me.

I didn't know what happened next but all I know is that I woke up the next day with his arms wrapped around my waist. To say that I wasn't shocked was an understatement.

My body stiffened and I almost forgot how to breathe. If not him waking up at the right time, I'm pretty sure I'd die out of my stupidity.

Who even forgets how to breathe?

Can you blame me though?

Imagine waking up, opening your eyes only to be greeted by such as surreal face. I was used to seeing people with great looks but with Devon, I wasn't really sure what to feel.

Our first impression wasn't really good and I'm not even sure we like the company of each other that much. But he is someone that I need.

I need him.

"Erase that. Whatever that is," I heard Devon hissing before turning his body on their direction. "Who is it?"

My brows furrowed at his question. What does he mean?

I got confused even more when Joseph stood up and tried to escape the situation only to be halted by Devon.

"It wasn't me!" Jiro immediately reasoned and my eyes caught Jack trying to hide behind Jiro.

"Jack..." Devon whispered and I felt chills on my body.  He sounded scary.

Slowly, Jack peeped behind Jiro and a boxy grin showing on his face.

"It was an accident. I didn't mean to see the password when Luna was typing it," he smiled, his face looking too adorable his words barely registered on my mind.

Wait, what?

In a flash, I moved towards them and took the phone they have been checking and my jaw dropped on the floor when I saw what they were looking at, a photo of me hugging Devon while we were sleeping.

What shock me the most is the fact that it looks like I was the one hugging him, my face even buried near his collarbone.

Jiro wiggled his eyebrows at my expression, my cheeks flushing red once again.

So they saw us?

Before I can even respond, the phone was already snatched out of my hand and Devon was already handling the situation.

"Stop teasing her. It was an accident. She was asleep and I was trying to rest, I fell asleep too," he stated and my gaze fell on the ground.

"No, don't worry about us Devon. We're glad to see you both, enjoying, sleeping with each other,"

All the boys laughed at what Josh oppa said.

"Oppa!" I whined and they laughed even more.

"Luna-ah, if you want cuddle buddies feel free to see me," Joseph teased and before I knew it, I was already chasing him with a pillow while everybody laughed at the scene.

These guys, I guys I have to start getting really comfortable with them, right?
