CASSIE'S POV:-

Cassie: Chris, please stop playing with me. Fuck me, please.

I pleaded to Chris while breathing heavily. He was hard but I just did not understand why he was not doing anything. Why he was playing with me. I wanted him and he always knew what I wanted. A maid came and informed us.

Chris: We are coming.

Mrs Rutherford: I wonder why Angus has not come back home?

Mrs Rutherford asked as she served dinner to us all.

Norie: He will be late, grandma. He texted me that he has a few important meetings to attend. That's why he would be late.

Norie replied and Mrs Rutherford nodded her head.

Mrs Rutherford: That's why my cub isn't home yet.

Mr Rutherford: See, you worry too much. Kids have grown up now. Don't worry. They will always come back home in the end.

Mr Rutherford said and Norie smiled. It did not feel like we did not know them. They all looked like we have known them for ages. They did not make us feel like strangers. It felt like we were home.

Norie: You can not hide it, Grandpa. Tell me honestly, you were the one worried about Angus?

Norie asked Mr Rutherford and he gave her an angry look. Charles Rutherford chuckled seeing their little fight.

Chris: This is very delicious, Mrs Rutherford. I have never tasted such a delicious butter chicken in my life.

Chris complimented Mrs Rutherford as he took his first bite and Norie nodded her head.

Norie: In a few days, you will say that about a million times, Mr Hunt. Grandma is the best.

Norie replied and Chris nodded his head.

Chris: I can say. I am already your fan. It's more than delicious.

He said and Mrs Rutherford thanked him. Then she also sat down and we all enjoyed our dinner together.

Talia Rutherford: So, how do you know Norie, Mr Hunt?

Talia Rutherford, Mr Angus Rutherford's step mother asked Chris this question and Norie glared at her. I was also shocked hearing her stupid question.

Mr Charles Rutherford: Talia, we had talked about it.

Charles Rutherford interrupted his wife but she did not look like the person who would drop a topic like that. She looked like a bully to me.

Talia Rutherford: What? I am just asking in general.

Talia Rutherford replied to Charles Rutherford. She then turned towards us and raised a brow.

Cassie: Mrs Rutherford came to New York City. Actually my father is an FBI agent. He helped her find Mr Rutherford while you were enjoying his absence here, Mrs Rutherford. But the question is, why are you interested in this. Interrogation is not your job, we all know that.

I replied to her in a taunting tone and Norie started laughing hysterically. Seeing her, Mr Rutherford also could not control his laughter, soon he also started laughing. Seeing him laughing carelessly, Charles Rutherford also lost control. Soon everyone started laughing crazily while Talia Rutherford was fuming in anger.
