Rise of the Darkness — CHAPTER 42

NATASHA'S POV:-

My name is Natasha and I am a student. I live in Malaysia. I was always told not to go to graveyards after the dusk. But I was just like the others. I did the opposite of what I was told. About a year ago, me and my friends decided to go to a graveyard. We had heard so many stories about that graveyard. People said that they had heard so many unusual voices from the graveyard. It used to happen after the dusk. It was our spring break. A very few of my friends were still in Malaysia. The others went to their home countries to spend some time with their families. We were 6 friends including me, Sarah, Andy, Mona, Kev and Jonny.

We went to the graveyard. It was all quiet and it scared me. But I showed my friends that I wasn't scared at all. Actually, I had placed a bet against my friends that these stories aren't real. I believe in the other creatures living in our world, I just don't know why I challenged my friends.

We entered the graveyard and looked around. "See, nothing here." I said and shrugged my shoulders.

"We don't know that. It's just the entrance. I have heard we need to find the tree of the dead." Kev said.

"Kev, really? Tree of the dead?" I asked in an annoyed tone.

"Definitely. You are the one who challenged us after all. And you think we will give you 2k dollars without checking it all." Mona replied and Kev nodded his head.

"Okay fine. Let's go and find that dead tree." I replied.

"It's the tree of the dead, not the dead tree." Andy replied.

"Whatever, let's just get over with it." I replied in an annoyed tone and started walking deeper into the graveyard. As I was walking deeper, I felt someone's eyes on me. I turned around to look but there was no one except for me and my friends. I brushed off the thoughts and kept walking.

About an hour later, we all saw a huge tree. It was standing in the middle of the graveyard. It was so huge and broad. It smelled like death. I looked at my friends. They all started taking pictures of the tree. I sat on the ground and was playing with the grass. My friends were out of my sight. I was humming a song.

Suddenly, I felt someone's hand on my back. I turned around to look but no one was there. I shook my head and again started humming the song. My friends came back and I stood up. "Found anything?" I asked with a smirk.

"No, but you have to wait till morning for your money. We need to be sure before we give you the money." Sarah replied and all nodded their heads.

"Okay, let's go then." I said and we turned around. We all started walking towards the gates of the graveyard.

Suddenly, someone pushed me and I fell on the ground. I stood back up and glared at my friends. I brushed off the dust from my clothes by my hands. The way I fell on the ground, I would have wounded my arms and knees, but I was fine. Not a single scratch. I sighed and started walking again.

We entered our house after an hour. We all lived in one house. We all rented the house. I went to my room and stripped off my clothes. I looked into the full size mirror. I found nothing, not a single scratch. I shrugged my shoulders and stepped into my bathroom. I took a long hot shower, brushed my teeth and stepped out of the bathroom. I wore a large sized t-shirt and crawled into my bed. It didn't take me long and I drifted off.

In the middle of the night, I felt something odd. I opened my eyes and found myself naked on the bed. My t-shirt was lying on the ground. Someone had torn it apart. I looked at my body, my bed and my comfort were soaked into my sweat. I got up and turned on the AC. I went to the bathroom, took a quick shower and came back to my room. I was feeling so hot, I didn't wear anything. I laid down on the bed and closed my eyes. After a few minutes I drifted off again.

I woke up again when I felt someone's hand on my body. I looked around and found a very handsome man sitting on my bed. His eyes were hypnotic, I felt like, drowning into his eyes. He crawled upon me and I was just smiling like an idiot. I didn't do anything to stop him. I didn't scream. I didn't crawl off of my bed. I was lying on the bed, waiting for him to make a move. And he did.

He leaned in and captured my lips into a passionate kiss. It felt heavenly. His mouth tasted like fresh and cold river water. Like I was thirsty for decades and finally got some water. His hands were all over my body and I was enjoying it. After that, I didn't know what happened. My mind stopped working. My head was light. I couldn't even feel my body. It was like I was paralyzed. I lost my voice. I felt a sharp pain into my lower abdomen. Even though my whole body was numb, I could still feel that pain. It was like someone had stroked something into my womanhood. The pain was unbearable when it started to move into me. I wanted to scream but I didn't. Tears were flowing freely from my eyes. I wanted him to stop, something wasn't right, but I was just lying there lifelessly. It kept moving inside me until I couldn't bear the pain anymore. Darkness engulfed me and I fainted.

I woke up in the morning. My whole body was aching. I felt like someone had hit me with a huge truck. I tried to get up. I sat up on the bed. With wide eyes I looked at the bed. It was soaked with red stains all over it. I looked at my hands, they looked pailer. I tried to crawl out of the bed but felt a sharp pain into my womanhood. I screamed loudly and that same man came running into my bedroom. He looked at me with a cheesy smile on his face. He sat beside me and stroked my cheek with his knuckles. "Does it hurt so much? Did I hurt you?" He asked me and sat beside me.

Tears blurred my vision. He wrapped his arms around me protectively. "I can't bear this pain. Please do something." I whispered. I didn't even know his name but it felt like I had known him for ages.

"Don't worry, I'll make the pain go away. I will make you feel better." He told me and I nodded my head. I wasn't able to speak anymore. I knew nothing about him. It felt like I had a nightmare. But I could feel it. I could smell him all over me. I was shaking into fear. He pecked my forehead to make me feel better. But when he saw my bed full of blood stains, he got up and went to the bathroom. He came back after a few minutes and scooped me up into his arms and took me to the bathroom. He had filled the tub with lukewarm water. He made me sit into the bathtub. He started massaging my body and it felt so good. That's all I remember before I fell asleep in the bathtub.
